<p>Melbourne property developer, Beulah, has achieved 100% settlement success on its $50 million South Melbourne development, Habitus Townhomes, with the majority of the townhomes settling at the peak of the Melbourne lockdown.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/buildings/habitus-south-melbourne-10-16-boundary-street-south-melbourne">five-storey townhouse project at 10 Boundary Street</a>, which had the support of the CBA and the Lieberman family's Monark Property Partners, comprises 25 townhomes priced from $1.35 million.</p>

<p>Melbourne’s strict lockdown resulted in a suite of new sales tactics, ranging from virtual viewings throughout the lockdown period to settlement discussions over Zoom.</p>

<p>Beulah Managing Director, Jiaheng Chan, said the settlement success is a testament to the quality of the development and the design’s appeal.</p>

<p>“Reaching 100% settlement is an achievement in itself, let alone during a state-wide lockdown where in person consultations were off the table," she said.</p>

<p>Habitus is marketed as "a step up from apartment living and the future for Melbourne’s burgeoning apartment market." </p>

<p>The townhomes are designed as a vertical living unit with each floor dedicated to a different function.</p>

<p>A majority of the five-storey homes feature a home-office and garage level on the ground floor, a living space on the next level, with the remaining two floors encompassing a bathroom, bedrooms and an additional living space. Each home is topped off with a private rooftop terrace with a functional entertaining space (including an integrated BBQ) boasting views of the CBD skyline.</p>

<p>South Melbourne is also set to be the home of <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/new-apartments/riconic-melbourne-253-273-normanby-road-south-melbourne">R. Iconic</a>, the high-rise tower at 253-273 Normanby Road which is set to be completed at the end of 2022.</p>

<p><span>Goodman Group's head of equities Nick Kurtis has sold his Mosman residence at around its $9.5 million price tag.</span></p>
<p><span>The contemporary home was on the market for about four weeks through John Melville and Michael Coombs at McGrath Estate Agents.</span></p>
<p><span>It was a 2012 Corben Architects designed home. The <em>Australian Financial Review</em> says Kurtis is to build another new home. </span></p>
<p><span>Nick Kurtis joined Goodman in 2000.</span></p>
<p>The contemporary home at <a href="https://www.propertyobserver.com.au/https://www.mcgrath.com.au/buy/house-mosman-nsw-2088/262691" target="_blank">37 Redan Street </a>on the Balmoral slopes was built on its 610 sqm block bought for $4.9 million in 2007.</p>

Goodman's Nick Kurtis sells Mosman home

<p>The Outer South West region of Sydney had a preliminary clearance rate of 100% from 22 total auctions, according to CoreLogic RP Data's Property Market Indicator Summary.</p>
<p>In the Eastern Suburbs, 105 properties went to auction -  a clearance rate of 80.5%.</p>

Outer Sydney suburb nets 100% preliminary clearance rate: CoreLogic RP Data Sydney breakdown

<p>The Westin Sydney hotel has been sold to a joint venture between Singaporean developer Far East Land and the Hong Kong-listed Sino Land Company for $445 million.</p>

<p>The Far East Organisation has purchased more than $1 billion of Australian real estate since the beginning of last year.</p>
<p>The GIC-owned Westin Sydney, at 1 Martin Place, is a five-star hotel with 414 rooms.</p>
<p>JLL and Colliers International were marketing the hotel which GIC purchased at $160 million in 2002.</p>
<p>Singapore’s Government Investment Corporation had <span style="line-height: 1.3em;">reported hopes of more than $400 million for the five star hotel.</span></p>

<p>North Queensland hotel, the Pullman Cairns International, has been sold for $75.08 million.<span style="line-height: 1.3em;"><br></span></p>
<p>Robert Magid's TMG Developments and its partner, the Singapore-based Ascendas Hospitality Trust, sold the hotel to the Melbourne-based Shakespeare Property Group, which is headed by private investor Yong Quek.</p>
<p>The landmark Accor-managed 321 room property overlooks Cairns Harbour.</p>
<p>It hosted the G20 finance ministers and Central Bank governors last year.</p>

Pullman Cairns sold by Robert Magid

<p>Listed in October 2012, retired lawyer Malcolm McLean and his artist wife, Jean, have finally sold their beachfront home at Whale Beach.</p>
<p>It was sold price undisclosed but presumably falling short of those initial ambitious price hopes of more than $10 million through Glenn Lee, of Raine &amp; Horne Palm Beach.</p>
<p>The Whale Beach Road property is two doors from the beachfront retreat of businessman and environmental activist Geoff Cousins, which sold just before the 2012 listing for a suburb record price of $13 million.</p>
<p>Cousins's property, named the Wedge after a nearby surf break, was snapped up within 10 days of hitting the market through Glenn Lee to then billionaire John Grill </p>
<p>Architect John Crawford designed the McLean residence, a modern, New England-inspired, five-bedroom house with sweeping beach views.</p>
<p>The McLeans' home sits on a 1567-square-metre block.</p>
