Karen Michael, daughter of the late property mogul David Burger has sold her Dover Heights home for an undisclosed price.
The Wentworth Street home was offered with a $7.5 million - $8 million price guide.
Michael is headed to Tamarama where she smashed the previous suburb record paying $15.8 million.
Michael bought her Dover Heights home in 1996 when, aged just 20, she paid $760,000 for the clifftop house and rebuilt it into a three-level residence with panoramic views from the ocean to the city skyline.
The five bedroom, four bathroom abode sits on a 936 sqm block.
Ray White Double Bay’s Ashley Bierman was responsible for both the sale of her former Dover Heights home and her off market purchase in Tamarama.
She purchased the home from Annie Conley, daughter of the late aviation pioneer and philanthropist John Conley who paid $13 million for the home.

It sits on a 550 square metre block, and is within walking distance to Bondi Beach.
Bidding started at $2.6 million, and, while several bidders opted out once offers reached the $3 million range, two individuals went back and forth 29 times before the winning price was reached. 
The home previously traded in 2000, when it sold for $1.22 million.
The median house price in Dover Heights is currently $3.95 million. 
Georgia Cleary and Alexandra Churchill, from BradfieldCleary Double Bay, listed the property.

Dover Heights trophy home sells for $3.57 million

The recently appointed boss of Google in Australia, Melanie Silva, and her husband Marcelo, have bought in Sydney’s east.
The couple have emerged as $5 million-plus buyers in Dover Heights.
The Blacktown-born Silva, who grew up in what she has described as “really humble beginnings” in Kings Langley, has secured a home that spans four levels with an internal lift.
There’s a double-sided fireplace that separates the living and family areas on the ground level.
The top level comprises the master suite, complete with a walk-in wardrobe and ensuite.
The home comes with views across Sydney Harbour.
It sold through Ray White’s top-selling agent Gavin Rubinstein.
The four-bedroom home had fetched $4.6 million three years ago.
Silva, who attended high school in Parramatta and then studied for an economics degree at Macquarie University, took the top job at Google last October.
She secured the up-market property on her return to Sydney from Singapore where she was posted in 2016 for two years.

The billionaire hotelier Justin Hemmes, who has been looking for a home for his ex-partner, Kate Fowler, has quietly secured a $7.5 million Dover Heights abode.

The couple have been living in the expansive Hermitage family compound in Vaucluse following their separation last July after a four year relationship.

Model Fowler, the mother of his two young daughters, met Hemmes on a boat in Europe in 2014.

Hemmes, who has recently broke into the $1 billion club due to his vast property empire, had been assisting Fowler in finding a suitable home.

Fowler had previously sought a Bellevue Hill offering but the couple who attended the auction last September were pipped when it sold for $6,575,000, some $575,000 over reserve. 

The Dover Heights acquisition was from Nicki Smoli and her husband Neil Smoli, a non executive director at Aviate Group.

The Smoli couple bought the property run down in 2012 for $2.4 million.

The oceanfront cliff top masterpiece was then designed by Nicki's father, the architect Dennis Rabinowitz, in 2015 with the build taking 18 months.

The home has four bedrooms, including a master retreat with its own walk in wardrobe, ensuite and balcony.

It sits in 550 square metres of landscaped gardens complete with a heated pool and dining terrace.

Sydney Sotheby's Double Bay agents Barry and Mark Goldman sold the home after having a $7 million guide.

The purchase comes ahead of Hemmes being ranked 89th in the inaugural edition of The List — Australia’s Richest 250, published in a special magazine in The Weekend Australian.

He is one of 68 property ident­ities who appear in The List, the biggest study of wealth in Australia ever undertaken.

Hemmes, who's parents, John and Merivale founded the Merivale fashion and property empire, owns the Coogee Pavilion, Ivy and the Newport Arms. He enjoys the ownership of 90 or so properties.

Late last year Hemmes dipped into the office market, purchasing the Sydney CBD building adjoining the Ivy.

It is believed he is seeking external investors, for the first time in Merivale's six decade year history, to undertake a $1.5 billion knockdown rebuild which will see the Ivy expand.

Ivy will be rebuilt within seven years and, while he has not finalised the plans for the precinct that for now at least contains 20 different venues and businesses, he is close to formulating his vision.

Emdur went on to downsize to a <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/news/75679-larry-emdur-secures-apartment-in-the-rocks" target="_blank">cool apartment in The Rocks</a>, but spends most of his time at his long-time Bondi apartment.
Built by Bellevarde Constructions in 2005, The Cliff House (above and below) was designed by London-based architects Walters and Cohen in collaboration with Sydney-based architects Collins and Turner.

The removalists haven't been spotted, but the former Nine CEO David Gyngell and wife, reporter Leila McKinnon are whispered to have sold their Dover Heights home.
The rumoured buyers are Adam and Alex Somerville from North Bondi. He's in the retirement village business. 
The clifftop home was built in 2014 after the block with 1940s home was bought in 1998 for $1.15 million.
The mansion, designed by David's sister Briony Fitzgerald and mother Anne, was once featured Belle.
"Every room, including the bathrooms, captures views of the ocean, coast or harbour in the distance. On a clear day you can see from Palm Beach to Wollongong," the magazine reported.
A nearby tightly held Wentworth Street, Dover Heights clifftop offering sold at recent auction for a bullish $6 million.
With private ocean views, it is a knockdown on 544 sqm that sold through Bradfield Cleary agent Georgia Cleary.
The sighting of Deborra-lee Furness at an open for inspection quickly triggered a wave of suggestions she and her showman husband Hugh Jackman could be on the lookout for a permanent Sydney abode.
But they were a no-show at the auction.
The word from the Jackman camp is that Furness was merely assisting a family friend with their Dover Heights property search.. 
Gyngell, the son of the late former Channel Nine boss, Bruce Gyngell, has links to the eastern suburbs coast going back to the late 1980s when he was selling beachwear and surfing equipment.

With private ocean views, it is a knockdown on 544 sqm that came with $4.5 million hopes through Bradfield Cleary agent Georgia Cleary.
The price guidance was based on a $4.4 million sale of a 449 sqm holding a few doors along by Cleary in mid-2017.
The home, bought in the 1940s for £340 pounds, last traded internally among relatives at $200,000 in 1982.

Rolando Schirato, the third generation of the Vittoria coffee bean family, has bought in Dover Heights with longtime partner, the super-food smoothie company pioneer, Luisa Hammond-Parker.
The North Bondi-based couple have spent $5,875,000 on a 2000 built home complete with two living areas with ocean views.
The north facing five bedroom house was built for Dr Steven Wang.
It was first listed in 2016 it had reported $6.6 million price tag after a major renovation.
Set on 530 sqm, it was sold by Ric Serrao and Dion Markovics at Raine &amp; Horne Double Bay.
The house features expansive rooftop terrace. 
His father Les has been long describer as the coffee king, with Rolando dubbed the merchant prince looking to expand the empire. He was responsible for the widely acclaimed Al Pacino campaign.
