<p>Almost a week after it passed in at its private auction, the opulent Brighton home of former AFL star Chris Judd and designer wife Bec has found a buyer.</p>
<p>It had a guide of $4.71 million to $5.17 million before it was passed in.</p>
<p>They're set to start another home project, renovating and extending another property which has yet to be revealed.</p>
<p>Marshall White Bayside director Andrew Campbell sold the home on Sunday.</p>
<p>Bec told her 690,000 Instagram followers she would miss the home.</p>
<p>"I’m going to miss this place sooooooooooo much but I can’t wait to share what we are doing next," she wrote next to a picture of their chandelier illuminated living room.</p>
<p>They completely re-designed the Brighton home, having paid $2,125,000 for a 1960s double-brick home. </p>

<p>It was demolished and in its place a slick three level designer residence was built in collaboration between Bali's GFAB Architects and the local Architecture Matters.</p>
<p>It comes complete with an impressive state of the art basement man cave featuring a cocktail bar and a gym.</p>
<p>Campbell said the man cave and the pool were just some of the features that appealed to the buyer.</p>
<p>The resort-inspired home has five bedrooms, including a four room parents retreat comprising two walk-in wardrobes and an ensuite.</p>
<p>Outside an all weather pavilion next to the heated wet-edge pool and spa, vertical gardens, cocktail bar in the man cave which is often referred to during his 3MMM commentary discussions. </p>
<p>Marshall White Bayside agents Andrew Campbell and Jack Johnstone had advised there were two offers after its private auction on May 31.</p>
<p>It sold to one of these parties.</p>

<p>Intrigue has surrounded the recent purchase known to be on the Mornington Peninsula by the decorated AFL legend Chris Judd and television presenter wife, Rebecca.</p>
<p>The location has been unspecified. It has now emerged as a two hectare holding at Main Ridge where they spent the $1,212,500.</p>
<p>Tucked along a quiet country road, not far from Arthurs Seat, the bush property comes with spring-fed dams with tall trees, ferns and natives. </p>

<p>It sold three days after auction when there was a $2.05 million asking price after being passed in on a $1.9 million vendor bid. There were just the two interested parties, one relocating from Sydney and looking to buy the home complete with furniture, and the other a local investor. </p>
<p>The former West Coast and Carlton midfielder bought it for $1.66 million in late 2007 after he moved from Perth.</p>

<p>Decorated former footy star Chris Judd and weather presenter wife Rebecca have relisted their Prahran townhouse with increased sale price expectations.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.realestate.com.au/property-townhouse-vic-prahran-124061278" target="_blank">The warehouse conversion</a> was undertaken in 2006 by Michelle Forsyth of Ethereal Design, who sold the home to the glamorous Melbourne couple.</p>
<p>Chris paid $1.66 million for the home in late 2007 after moving from Perth to sign with Carlton. It had initial hopes of $1.95 million.</p>
<p>The four storey townhouse overlooks the parks and rooftops from its full-floor entertaining space complete with wood fireplace, Smeg kitchen and private terrace.</p>
<p>There are four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a 12.5 metre high water feature that is made up of 26,000 glass pieces.</p>
<p>They <a href="/expert-insights/investing/28436-chris-and-rebecca-judd-lease-redundant-prahran-home-as-1999-a-week-rental" target="_blank">leased the home at $1,999 a week</a> in 2014 following the birth of their second baby after they had failed to find a $1.7 million buyer.</p>
<p>The family moved into their newly created Brighton property which cost the $2.1 million in 2010.</p>
<p>Rebecca had Sara and Amy Chamberlain, from ‘The Real Estate Stylist’ undertook the initial marketing campaign styling which included a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkmdUvgcA_w" target="_blank">six minute marketing video on YouTube</a>.</p>
<p>It's listed with a price guide of $1.8 million to $1.9 million for its December 4 auction.</p>
