Bec and Chris Judd jag a buyer for Prahran townhouse
Rebecca and Chris Judd didn't sell their Prahran townhouse at weekend auction, but three days later its gone under offer.
The glamorous Hinton Lane pad was the family home of the Judds until they moved to Brighton.
The auctioneer opened the bidding with a vendor bid of $1.85 million, then $1.9 million.
It then came with a $2.05 million asking price. There were just the two interested parties, one relocating from Sydney and looking to buy the home complete with furniture, and the other a local investor.
It was on the market back in 2013, but rented after the couple failed to find a buyer at $1999 per week.
Their four floor Prahran townhouse abode was a warehouse conversion undertaken in 2006 by Michelle Forsyth of Ethereal Design with skylit staircase and a dumb waiter from top to bottom.
The apartment overlooks park and rooftops, all within walking distance of Greville and Chapel streets.
The retired Carlton midfielder bought it for $1.66 million in late 2007 after he moved from Perth.
The Judds have long moved into their rebuilt Brighton property which was purchased in 2010 for $2.1 million.
