Longtime Melbourne developer Bensons Property has lifted the lid on their new Carlton apartment development, Drummond House, a project that promises to be one of the most technologically advanced buildings in Melbourne.
Drummond House, at 482-492 Drummond Street in the heart of Carlton and on the fringe of Princes Park, has been designed by renowned architecture firm Fender Katsalidis, will rise 13 levels and offer a mix of two, three and four-bedroom apartments with interiors by Sora Interior Architects.
Each apartment is home-automated, which residents can control through the connecX Smart Building mobile app.
Drummond House will target an 8.7-star energy rating, aligning itself with modern sustainability standards.
The kitchen will be equipped with smart appliances such as Siemens intelligent cooking appliances and a Samsung smart fridge, while air purification systems equipped with UV lights will also be installed in all residences.
The amenities offered at Drummond House are also technology-centred, designed to make the lives of its residents well-rounded and convenient.
The amenities include a wellness centre featuring a gym, salt room, sauna, and ice bath, along with additional areas such as private dining spaces, a kids' play area, and a business centre.
Convenience is further elevated with amenities like a car and dog wash, a dedicated concierge service, and number plate recognition technology for seamless access.
Balmain & Co has been appointed builder for Drummond House.
Bensons recently completed their Footscray apartment development Liberty One. They're currently developing Society Armadale, as well as Chevron One, Chevron Island's tallest skyscraper, on the Gold Coast.
