The Melbourne property developer Growland has appointed the respected national builder, Hacer Group, to construct its $120 million luxury apartment development, Neue Grand.

Neue Grand, already 50 per cent sold of its full-floor apartments at 613 St Kilda Road, has been one of the most anticipated developments in recent years, with the added level of exclusivity which sees apartments home a sky garage, allowing residents to park their cars in a glass garage next to their living room.

Hacer is no stranger to building high-end apartment developments. They are currently building 17 Spring Street for Cbus Property and worked on DUX Richmond for Little Projects and the Queen's Domain apartment block.

Hacer Group Director Vin Sammartino expressed the team’s excitement towards this new project.

“We are thrilled we have been chosen by Growland as the preferred builder for its prestige collector’s edition project, Neue Grand," Sammartino said.

"We are committed to delivering on the exceptional standards outlined in the design and construction of this build; redefining luxury and indulgences for city living, with the introduction of the southern hemisphere’s first sky garage residences. Set to become a truly iconic address, we look forward to commencing at full steam ahead.”

Designed by Rothelowman, Neue Grand will have just 18 apartments across the 20-level tower, 17 whole-floor apartments and one penthouse.

The penthouse will have four-bedrooms and measures to 650 sqm over two levels with an additional 216 sqm for a private rooftop terrace.

Residents will also have access to six-star concierge services.

Growland chief executive Ronald Chan says the company is proud to be the ones to bring a new standard of living to Melbourne.

"Neue Grand is a luxuriously unique development that undoubtedly raises the benchmark for city living," Chan said, adding that they are pleased to be working with Hacer.

Growland bought the St Kilda Rd site for $12.1 million in 2015.

Completion of Neue Grand is slated for late-2023.
