Palm Beach in the southern Gold Coast has become one of the hotspot off the plan apartment markets in the whole country over the last few years.

While always known to locals as one of the best spots on the Gold Coast, it was very much put on the map to souther state dwellers from the early stages of COVID.

The suburb now represents a blend of old and new apartments.

A recent purchaser in Sherpa's recently launched Perspective Nexus said the location of the development, as well as its internal amenity and reputation of the developer, were the driving factors in her purchase.

"Palm Beach has so much to offer," buyer Julie says.

"On your doorstep, you've got shopping complexes and cafes and restaurants, and if you're in a location like Perspective Nexus, you can literally just jump on your bike and you can ride down and do your shopping. There's also access to a lot of nature trails around the area so it's really the perfect place to sort of unwind."

Julie says what she loves most about Palm Beach is the access to all the bike paths.

"You can be riding along the beach or you could work your way down the coast and end up in the hinterland areas so it really is a spectacular location."

Perspective Nexus is located on the prized eastern side, the beach side, of the Gold Coast Highway, one building away from the Palm Beach Parklands.

"Location-wise, I don't think you can really beat it," Julie adds.

"I think it's just the lifestyle that just really offers you and the flexibility. You can literally just walk downstairs and be on the beach within a couple of minutes, and that, probably to me, is the biggest advantage of living in a complex like Perspective Nexus."

Julie says she's looking forward to going downstairs to June Cafe, next door to Perspective Nexus, to have a coffee and breakfast.

"Being right on the beach, of course, you've got the estuary with the flat waters and you've got the beach with the ocean, so it's great for surfers or any other kind of sort of water sports. But there's also the dog beach so you can bring your dog down for the day. Whether it's the estuary or the ocean size, there's a dedicated area for our fur babies, which I am pretty excited about!"

Perspective Nexus, just 32 apartments designed by Hayes Anderson Lynch, comprises a sole two-bedroom apartment, 21 three-bedroom apartments each with a multi-purpose room, and five four-bedroom apartments. There's also two penthouses and three two-level skyhomes with private rooftops.

Julie said the biggest advantage for her moving into Nexus is the wellness centre. Residents will have exclusive access to a dedicated wellness space featuring a swimming pool, magnesium spa, outdoor kitchen, sauna, hot and cold pools, a steam room, and a wellness garden.

Additional amenities and features will include an electric car charging station, individual apartment storage, a car wash bay, a dog wash, and parcel delivery storage, including a cold store.

Perspective Nexus marks Sherpa's third venture in Palm Beach, following the highly successful Perspective 488 project, which sold out within three months, and its fast-tracked sibling, Perspective Two Sea. Together, these projects achieved a combined sales total exceeding $70 million.

Julie also said she felt safe buying an apartment from Sherpa, who have delivered quality apartments and buildings for a number of years.
