First look: Two-level apartments to hit Coolangatta's Marine Parade

Marine Parade is one of the most sought-after strips in the Southern Gold Coast.

In recent years there has been the quicktime sell-out of Spyre Group's Cala Dei Residences, the 12-level project replacing the well known Komune Resort, and Joe Adsett's luxury Rockpool Rainbow Bay development.

Now there's set to be a new collection of high-end apartments at 202 Marine Parade, toward the tip of the street near Snapper Rocks and behind Rainbow Bay Surf Club.

Zone Planning Group lodged the plans on behalf of Pacific View, the developer behind Bilinga's luxury apartment project Navini.

The project will have just four apartments across an 11-level building designed by Raunik Design Group Architects.

Each unit will span two levels and feature large voids which create open plan living spaces and allow for maximum natural light. The apartments have been orientated to maximise the unobstructed views, which are on offer from every level given Marine Parade's prime ocean-facing status.

Crowning the development is a communal rooftop with a pool, barbecue area, outdoor dining space, a lounge area, as well as an observation deck that will take in the expansive surrounding views to Snapper Rocks, Rainbow Bay and the Gold Coast skyline, as well as vistas to the Tweed coastline and Hinterland.

The rectangular-shaped lot, covering a total site area of 422 sqm, currently houses the Pacific View apartments, an older-style building that is home to six units.
