Hutchinson Builders has been announced as the construction firm to deliver the $57 million Coolangatta apartment project, Cala Dei.

The project is set to rise on the site currently occupied by Komune Resort.

The 31 apartments expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2023.

The 12 level apartment complex, designed by bureau^proberts, will sit in landscaping by CUSP.

Spyre Group officially launched its new Coolangatta tower in April with its four week sell out credited as one of the fastest selling projects ever on the Gold Coast.

It marks a fourth consecutive sell-out for the company on the Gold Coast, the $79 million Elysian Broadbeach, $25 million MAYA Kirra Beach, and the currently under construction $77 million Natura, Burleigh..

Prices ranged from $779,000 in Cala Dei to its $7.1 million penthouse sale. 

Spyre Group bought the 862 sqm Marine Parade site from a company directed by Komune Resort owner Anthony Cannon and Fitness First founder Tony de Leede.

It has recently acquired a beachfront site to be launch later this year.
