Apartments in Brisbane's anticipated Queen's Wharf Tower to hit the market
Since mid-2020, when Queen's Wharf Residences apartments flew off the shelves, prospective buyers in the $3.6 billion Queen's Wharf Brisbane on the Brisbane River have been waiting for another opportunity.
Now they've got the opportunity, with the launch of Queen's Wharf Tower, the neighbouring tower to Queen's Wharf Residences, and the highest tower in the popular riverside precinct, which is currently under construction by the established building firm Multiplex.
The 71-level tower, which will soar 250 metres in to the sky, making it the sixth highest tower in the Queensland capital, will home 819 one, two and three-bedroom apartments, as well as a handful of exclusive penthouses.
Located on the corner of Margaret and William Street, apartments in Queen's Wharf Tower have been designed by Cottee Parker to take advantage of either city, Botanic Gardens, or river views.
Multiplex have been working on the precinct since 2019, when they were award the $1.5 billion construction contract by Destination Brisbane Consortium, a joint venture led by The Star Entertainment Group along with its Hong Kong-based partners, Chow Tai Fook Enterprises and Far East Consortium.
Construction of Queen's Wharf Tower, to be the highest tower in the precinct, is slated for 2023, with completion to follow in 2025.
It will be the fifth sky tower in the seven-hectare integrated resort development which will surround nine heritage buildings.
The retail component of the project will be anchored by luxury brand retailer DFS, which will create a three-level T Galleria Emporium as part of the 40,000 sqm shopping precinct.
The Sky Deck sits 100 metres above street level and will feature sky-high dining amongst subtropical landscaping, affording visitors a 360-degree view of the city.
Construction of Queen's Wharf Tower is slated for 2023, with completion to follow in 2025.
Queen's Wharf Residences was one of the hottest projects in Brisbane when it hit the market in 2020, selling 75 per cent of its apartments in eight weeks.
When the whole precinct is finished, it will have 12 football fields’ worth of public space, 2,000 apartments, 1,000 premium hotel rooms, 50 restaurants, as well as retail space, a 1,000-person ballroom and a casino.
