Bayside leads top five Melbourne regions for house rental increase: CoreLogic RP Data

House rents have increased 2.1% across Melbourne for the year with houses in the Mornington Peninsula and Bayside making up the majority of the top five regions for rental increases throughout the year, according to CoreLogic RP Data's September Monthly Rental Report.

CoreLogic RP Data senior research analyst Cameron Kusher said at the same time that Mornington Peninsula suburbs feature prominently on the list this area of Melbourne has been one of the weakest performing regions for value growth over recent years.

The median house price for a home in Black Rock is $1,585,000, according to CoreLogic RP Data.
