Selling Houses Australia and property guru Andrew Winter and wife Caroline are selling their Sanctuary Cove home on the Gold Coast.

They've renovated the Marine Drive East home over their brief ownership, having paid $1.9 million for the Tuscan inspired home two years ago with a renovation in mind.

Now they're asking $3.95 million for the waterfront with 23 metres of river frontage and an eight metre pontoon.

Set on a 950 sqm block, the home is built around a central courtyard with a 15 metre swimming pool. Every one of the five bedrooms have direct access to the pool.

The fifth bedroom sits in a self-contained pool house.

The listing subtly nods to a Selling Houses Australia renovation. It suggests the home was subject to a renovation under the supervision of an architect, interior designer and landscape designers.

Queensland Sotheby's agents John and Marie Manning, who sold the Winter's the home, have the listing again.

Last year following the renovation, Winter told realestate.com.au the home embracing the Queensland lifestyle.

“It’s got massive bi-fold doors, high ceilings — you throw the doors open and you’re right on the water — it’s got a pool, you get cross-ventilation, you get enough sun but not too much," the English born TV presenter said.

“For a Pom, it’s embracing the climate that we live in and the outdoor lifestyle.

"It’s always talked about and that’s why we live here.”

Winter reshuffled the couple's Queensland property portfolio last year.
