Selling Houses Australia and property guru Andrew Winter and wife Caroline are selling their Sanctuary Cove home on the Gold Coast.

They&#39;ve renovated the Marine Drive East home over their brief ownership, having paid $1.9 million for the Tuscan inspired home two years ago with a renovation in mind.

Now they&#39;re asking $3.95 million for the waterfront with 23 metres of river frontage and an eight metre pontoon.

Set on a 950 sqm block, the home is built around a central courtyard with a 15 metre swimming pool. Every one of the five bedrooms have direct access to the pool.

The fifth bedroom sits in a self-contained pool house.

The listing subtly nods to a Selling Houses Australia renovation. It suggests the home was subject to a renovation under the supervision of an architect, interior designer and landscape designers.

Queensland Sotheby&#39;s agents John and Marie Manning, who sold the Winter&#39;s the home, have the listing again.

Last year following the renovation, Winter told realestate.com.au the home embracing the Queensland lifestyle.

&ldquo;It&rsquo;s got massive bi-fold doors, high ceilings &mdash; you throw the doors open and you&rsquo;re right on the water &mdash; it&rsquo;s got a pool, you get cross-ventilation, you get enough sun but not too much,&quot; the English born TV presenter said.

The Broadbeach in the Park penthouse was passed in at $4 million. Under the hammer the dearest house sale was $1.1 million.
But <a href="https://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-qld-sovereign+islands-121535450" target="_blank">59 Royal Albert Crescent, Sovereign Islands</a> (top, above) goes to auction tonight, along with a view other trophy home listings on the Gold Coast.
It is a builder's own home with five extra-large ensuited bedrooms plus a grand master suite.
The four level home comes with 1235sqm living space on a large 751sqm block with a wide 27 metre waterfrontage with large pontoon.
There's a 12 seater home theatre, games room, study, billiard room and a kids' retreat.
There is a large 8-10 car circular basement.
A lift services all levels.

In 2016 Stoner returned to the Ducati Corse Team as a test rider for the 2016 MotoGP season, ending his five-year tenure with Honda.

They are looking for a lifestyle change, while staying locally, their listing agent advised.
During his MotoGP days Stoner called a rural property near Tamworth his Australian home.
Stoner's parents, Colin and Bronwyn continue to be New South Wales based and have just spent $3.34 million on a motel in the heart of Tamworth.

Five bedroom Sanctuary Cove house listed for mortgagee sale

Mulpha Australia has began due diligence on The Palms Golf Course at Sanctuary Cove ahead of a potential buy-back, having sold it in 2007.
Mulpha's investment in Sanctuary Cove is valued at more than $250 million. It has achieved in excess of $800 million in property sales
They began selling the homes in 2005.
The development giant have entered into a memorandum of understanding to complete the due diligence process ahead of a formal sales agreement with the Sanctuary Cove Golf &amp; Country Club.
Mulpha Australia Limited CEO Greg Shaw they are pleased with the proposed deal.
"We are delighted that Mulpha has entered into an agreement in principal with the Sanctuary Cove Golf &amp; Country Club to purchase the assets of The Palms Golf Course, The Sanctuary Cove Country Club and half of the maintenance facilities,” said Shaw.
Shaw, who has extensive executive management experience in the tourism, sport and leisure industry, said the assets required ongoing infrastructure investment.
“Mulpha Australia was approached by the Club and had started these discussions more than a year ago and it made perfect business sense, given Mulpha Australia’s long-term commitment to Sanctuary Cove, Australia’s premier integrated leisure and lifestyle community.”
Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club President Mick McDonald said the discussions have been ongoing for over a year.
“Over a year ago the Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club Holdings Ltd Board instigated discussions with the Company’s major shareholder Mulpha Australia, to investigate and establish a pathway to overcome significant challenges regarding the future.
“The Board are excited that this outcome, if accepted by shareholders at the upcoming Extraordinary General Meeting, will give the Club the required financial stability to allow the opportunity to significantly upgrade The Pines Golf Course, and return it to arguably one of the best private and exclusive golf facilities in the country,” Mr McDonald said.
The agreement is subject to due diligence and a vote in the coming weeks by Sanctuary Cove Golf &amp; Country Club shareholders.

Mulpha Australia seeking to buy-back The Palms Golf Course at Sanctuary Cove

A contemporary golf course home at Sanctuary Cove has been bought by retired corporate executive David Baird and his wife Marion for $6.5 million.
The Queensland vendors Michael and Michelle Cowling built the home 18 months ago, selling as they are moving onto a new project within Sanctuary Cove.
The 1,800 sqm block of land with 80 mesold at $1.53 million in March 2015, having sold initially by Mulpha at $1.45 million in 2005.
In the interim, the block had sold at $1.65 million in 2007 and $1.7 million in 2011.

The Bairds recently sold their home on the Isle of Capri for $8.8 million.

The popular renovation show host had previously moved on from two agency's who were unsuccessful selling the Sanctuary Cove home.
It was initially listed for $3,995,000 in January.
Amir Mian Prestige agents Charlon Delos Angeles and Alister Billingsley had the weekend auction, with seven interested parties, according to the Gold Coast Bulletin.
It was passed in with a vendor bid of $3 million.
