Greenland buys Crown Hotel, Parramatta site from Iris Capital

China’s largest developer Greenland Group has bought a Parramatta development site.

It was the second property with development potential bought from Sam Arnaout’s hospitality and development group Iris Capital.

Greenland is buying the Crown Hotel, which has the potential to be developed into apartments.

Combined with the Crest Hotel, Kings Cross acquisition the purchase cost an unconfirmed $170 million.
