CBRE Agribusiness has been appointed to sell The Greenery Garden Centre in Heidelberg.

It is being billed as Melbourne’s leading nursery brand and destination garden centre since 1976.

Located 11km from the Melbourne CBD, in the city’s growing eastern corridor, The Greenery Garden Centre is a dedicated greening specialist, providing a range of products and services, including plants, sand and soil, outdoor furniture, ornaments, homewares, water features and other accessories.

The property, at 4 Banksia Street, comprises a 2.33ha landholding situated along the banks of the Yarra River.

CBRE Agribusiness agents Duncan McCulloch and James Beer have been appointed to handle the sale of both the freehold and the business.

“The opportunity comprises a large scale freehold landholding and profitable business with a strong trading performance and a long-standing and dedicated customer base,” they suggest.

The Greenery Garden Centre is being sold as a going concern.

CBRE expect to receive strong interest from both domestic and international industry participants.
