Land in Clyde North’s newest community – Berwick Waters, 50 kilometres southeast of the Melbourne CBD – will be released this Saturday with allotments starting from $235,000.

The Macumba land release comprises eight allotments within the Heritage Hills precinct.

Berwick Waters – an estate by Australand and Mondous Property Australia – is made up of two precincts, Heritage Hills and Waterfront.

The eight allotments range in size from 444 square metres to 545 square metres.

The 310-hectare community estate boasts extensive wetlands, shared walking and bike trails and will be complemented by three proposed state schools and a town centre.

Purchasers of the Macumba land release will be required to pay 5% of the purchase price to secure the allotment.

The median house price in Clyde North, which grew 0.35% in the quarter to February 2013, is $397,000.
