Australian Winter Olympics aerial ski champion Alisa Camplin failed to sell her Hawthorn home at weekend auction.
The renovated weatherboard Victorian home at <a href="https://www.realestateview.com.au/Real-Estate/8-colvin-grove-hawthorn/Property-Details-buy-residential-9593102" target="_blank">8 Colvin Grove</a> was her first home.
More than $2 million was tipped for the double fronted four bedroom home which was passed in on a $2.05 million vendor bid.
It last traded at $1,325,000 in 2008.
Melbourne notched up a clearance rate of 71% on the weekend compared to 73% last weekend.
The 71% matched the same weekend last year, <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/property-observer" target="_blank">according to the REIV</a>.

Ski champion Alisa Camplin passes in Hawthorn cottage as Melbourne clearance rate eases

Celebrity renovator Cherie Barber didn't secure her desired record Leichhardt price at weekend auction. It was passed in on a vendor bid of $3.05 million after two attendees had bid.
The reserve was set at $3.2 million.
She’d paid $950,000 in 2008 for <a href="/news/45156-cherie-barber-lists-1890s-leichhardt-record-setter" target="_blank">the unliveable double-fronted 1890s house at 93 Hill Street</a> since converting it into a five-bedroom family home.
The project she’d reportedly expected would bring her a $1 million profit.
 “I’m confident it will sell by Wednesday and if not, I’ll rent it out for $2000 to $2500 a week,” said Ms Barber.
The star of Channel Ten’s show, The Living Room, said she’d knocked back a pre-auction offer of $3,075,000 from a buyer who couldn’t attend on Saturday because he was on holiday in Uluru. 
The celebrity renovator had just flown in from Minnesota where she has been filming her Five Day Flip renovation series for US television.
Some 800 auctions were scheduled for the first Saturday of spring, with the inner west having 121 set to go under the hammer.
