HAVING just penned a new deal to stay at the Manly Sea Eagles until 2021, second-row stalwart Curtis Sironen has bought again in the Ryde apartment market.
He has spent $1.03 million in the Putney Hill project, which features landscaped grounds with a 3km fitness track.
The 85 sqm unit has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Ryde was the hardest hit suburb across Sydney in 2018, with dwelling values declining 13.5 per cent.
Sironen started his career at the Wests Tigers in 2012, before leaving for Manly in 2016. He is the son of Balmain Tigers legend Paul Sironen.

Sea Eagle Curtis Sironen buys Ryde apartment

Manly Sea Eagles coach Trent Barrett and wife Kylie have listed their luxury Freshwater home they bought just before Trent took the reigns at the club two years ago.
The couple paid $2.41 million for the home (above and below) in 2015 when upsizing from Barrack Point in Shellharbour, where they scored a record $2.4 million.
The Barrack Point listing came just before Barrett was appointed to replace Geoff Toovey.

Trent Barrett lists Freshwater home amid Manly Sea Eagle's conflict

The Trbojevic Sea Eagle brothers continue to pour their league earnings into building their impressive property portfolio.
Jake and Tom, set to be included in the NSW State of Origin squad for the upcoming series, had previously accumulated quite the collection of apartments in the northern beaches area.
Now they've committed on a new front altogether.
They have diversified into a new build, each securing a house and land package on a newly constructed street inland at Warriewood on Sydney's northern beaches.
They've each spent $964,000 on two turnkey homes in a new Warriewood development, just three doors along from each other.
The purchases take their spends to over $1.9 million for houses and nearly $3.2 million for apartments.
No building is yet underway on the recent acquisitions but the surrounding streets are certainly tradie heartland judging by the line of utes heading in and out of the neighbourhood when I took a look late one afternoon this week.

The Trbojevic's secured their house and land package from Clarendon Homes in a new Warriewood estate, Fern Creek. Its just up the hill from Shearwater, near the Warriewood Wetlands.
The lots suit a four bedroom home.
The sold signs suggest the sales were through local agent Nik Vuko who declined to indicate if the boys would be moving in as owner occupiers or secured their as investors.

Their property purchasing began in 2014 when Jake, two years older than Tom, spent $680,000 on a two bedroom Narrabeen apartment.
In 2016 Jake then spent $590,000 on a one bedder in Brookvale, a few months before his then 19 year old brother got his foot on the ladder.
Tommy Turbo spent <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/news/67266-sea-eagle-tom-trbojevic-scores-manly-investment" target="_blank">$895,000 on his first purchase</a>, a two bedroom Manly Vale unit, shortly after he signed a $2.7 million contract to keep him with the Sea Eagles until 2020.
He backed the purchase up a year later when he spent <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/news/79062-nrl-stars-take-to-the-property-game" target="_blank">$1 million on another two bedroom apartment</a> in the same suburb.
The brother's purchases are now taking over the portfolio of captain Daly Cherry-Evans
Cherry-Evans lives in a $1,335,000 Curl Curl home and owns an investment home in the Gold Coast and an apartment in Freshwater.
The Mona Vale born brothers both played for the Mona Vale Raiders before being picked up by Manly.
Tom is set for his first call up to the NSW Origin side, while former Cronulla Shark Michael Ennis said NSW Blues could pick Jake Trbojevic for the next 10 years.
The 24 year old forward made his debut in the three-match series last year, the same year he was made the Sea Eagles vice-captain.
It's been far from the dream start for the Sea Eagles, who sit 12th on the ladder having lost 7 of their opening 10 games, including thumping defeats against South Sydney Rabbitohs and the Parramatta Eels.

Manly's Trbojevic brothers buy in new Warriewood estate

Former Manly Sea Eagles skipper Jamie Lyon and wife Ellie have left the Northern Beaches and headed to the NSW Northern Rivers.
The couple sold their luxury Warriewood home earlier this year.
The couple secured $1.89 million for their luxury home through LJ Hooker agent Marco Cimino - within a week of its listing.
They paid $635,000 for the 560 sqm property in 2012 before building a four bedroom Rawson Homes family entertainer.
Lyon, who forged a reputation over the years as a keen pig hunter, has been low-key since his 2016 retirement. 
He was never going to be the retired player who would go into coaching or television.
He signed up with Brookvale-based sports goods company, Paladin Sports, then led Paladin's first golf tour to New Zealand, coinciding with the NRL Auckland Nines.
They've moved north to a Skennars Head beachfront reserve home -  paying $1.35 million for a home not far from the Ballina airport. 
The two storey, five bedroom home has expansive entertaining spaces with views from Sharpes Beach to Flat Rock.
Doors open onto a wrap patio and garden courtyard and a Magna heated mineral pool sits in the rear yard.
McGrath Ballina agents Glenn and Nathan Mills sold the home.
Lyon, who grew up in Narrabri in north-central New South Wales, began his career at the Parramatta Eels but made headlines after announcing that after 70 games at the age of 22 he was retiring from the NRL.
He returned to his junior club the Wee Waa Panthers before signing with English Super League club St Helens on a two-year deal in 2005.
A year later he won the Championship and Challenge Club titles.
He returned to the NRL with Manly, winning the 2008 and 2011 Grand Finals.
The goal-kicking centre was regarded as one of the best centres in the game. He won the Dally M Centre of the year in 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2014.
On the year of his retirement he become the fourth player after after Ryan Girdler, Hazem El Masri and Luke Burt to score 100 tries and 500 goals.
Lyon, a keen pig hunter, is now an account manager with Brookvale based sports goods company Paladin Sports, where he conducts golf tours.
