James Cummings, the youthful trainer of the racing royalty family, is selling the family home he shares with wife Monica Barrera-Cummings and their two children.
They’re wanting to move closer to his thoroughbred training base.
The six-bedroom Malabar home, bought in 2017, shortly after Cummings was named the head trainer at Godolphin, has been listed through Raine &amp; Horne Bondi Beach agent Hannah Bouskila.
“We’ve loved living in this house, watching the children grow up these past few years,” Cummings said.

Cummings was trackside at Randwick with Alizee running in the TAB Expressway Stakes while the first open home took place yesterday, with strong inspection numbers despite the heat.

Racing royalty James Cummings lists Malabar home to move near stables

Legendary horse trainer Lloyd Williams has re-listed his Mount Macedon horse training property, Macedon Lodge, after it closed its doors late last year.
Williams, who was once one of the country’s most prominent thoroughbred owners, has the majority of his horses now domiciled with Ireland’s famous horse training family, the O’Briens.
The 300 acre state-of-the-art facility has been the training ground of three of his six Melbourne Cup winners.
Efficient, Green Moon and Almandin were all trained by Williams at the complex.
There's been a fourth Cup winner trained out of the property. Etherereal, who won the 2001 Caulfield Cup and Melbourne Cup was trained by Sheila Laxon.

Williams bought the property for $5.1 million with his son Nick in 2005 from businessman Kurt Stern and estimates he has spent more than $30 million on the estate.
It is speculated the property will fetch $20 million plus, which is what was sought <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/news/35343-lloyd-williams-relists-macedon-lodge" target="_blank">when it was listed in 2014</a>.
"Macedon Lodge has been an extremely successful venture into which we have put countless hours and many millions of dollars," Williams said.
"Given the complex has produced in excess of 20 Group 1 winners including the winners of Australia’s greatest races, the Melbourne Cup, Caulfield Cup, and Sydney Cup, and been home to champion horses such as Green Moon, Almandin, Fawkner, Zipping, and Efficient, you would have to say that it has been time and money well spent," Williams added.
"Over the last 14 years I have lived at Macedon Lodge and supervised everything but more recently I have found it impossible to devote the time and energy required."
"I am on the verge of 80 (and) that’s the reason why I am selling it,” Mr Williams told The Australian.

Nick Williams said the family’s horse racing operations would continue, but with reduced numbers.
CBRE director of investments Mark Wizel is managing the sale campaign with Barry Bowditch, managing director of Magic Millions Sales Pty Ltd, on behalf of Hudson Conway Racing who own the property.
Wizel said the highly specialized property offered the absolute best in class facility available anywhere in Australia and arguably in the Asia Pacific region.
"This is the quintessential horse training facility located on extremely fertile soil and in environmental conditions which are ideal for thoroughbred racing horses," Wizel said.

The purpose-built facility which has regularly housed up to 100 horses, has more than 15 kilometres of tracks, a 75-metre horse pool, 75 boxes, 25 grass day yards, 20 spelling paddocks, a water-walker, and a specialised lighting facility for convalescing horses.
The property also has on site accommodation for over 15 staff, office facilities, entertainment areas, and a staff café.
Wizel said there was no doubt that Macedon Lodge was also very well placed to provide purchasers with the potential to operate a number of alternative businesses including convention centres, HR training facilities, and health/wellbeing ventures.
"The property is located in a beautiful environment which has long attracted tourists from Melbourne, regional Victoria, and interstate to Mount Macedon,

Horse trainer Lloyd Williams relists Macedon Lodge

Victory Lodge, the Warwick Farm stables of the Golden Slipper-winning trainer Clarry Conners and wife Maree has sold prior to auction.
All four of Conners Golden Slipper winners, Tierce, Burst, Prowl and Belle du Jour, were trained at the stables. 
The couple, who live on site at the property, no longer has enough horses to fill the 23 stable complex. He says he's down to about 14 to 15 horses at a time.

Victory Lodge was named after Conners first Group One winner Victory Prince.  
The property at <a href="https://www.realcommercial.com.au/sold/property-10-hope-street-warwick-farm-nsw-2170-503369722" target="_blank">10 Hope Street, Warwick Farm</a> was offered by CBRE agents Tom Rourke, Alex Mirzaian and Andrew Sukkar.
They said the 2,860 sqm property, across the road from the Warwick Farm Raceway and metres away from the under-road tunnel that leads to the track, has potential to be subdivided in to four titles.
There are 23 stables, a nine-horse walker, feed room, 16 tonne feed silo and two one bedroom flats.

Bylong Park, Upper Hunter brood mare farm listed

Melbourne businessman and legendary horse trainer Lloyd Williams and wife Suzanne are offloading a redundant Port Douglas investment.
It is a four bedroom villa within the Mirage complex.
It comes not long after the couple added a further two smaller villas in the compound, paying $1.7 million each for the two bedders.

Legendary horse trainer Lloyd Williams lists Port Douglas holiday home

Leading jockey Kerrin McEvoy, who won the Melbourne Cup on UK horse Cross Counter yesterday, has said he will put his winnings towards a bigger house for his family.
The race was worth a prize pot of $4 million, with McEvoy getting four percent, so around $200,000, which might cover half the deposit if he is looking to upgrade from his Sydney home.
McEvoy owns a house in Randwick (above) with his wife Cathy and four kids, who he promised there will be a swimming pool in their new digs.
“I promised my four kids a swimming pool. And Cathy and myself have been looking around for a bigger house," he told Channel 7 after the race.
“I said to one of the Herald Sun reporters yesterday that if I won I would buy Cathy a new house, so look out.”
McEvoy paid $3.45 million for a three bedroom, 1880s home in 2010 in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, but it became a $1,300 a week rental in 2015.

Melbourne Cup winning jockey pledges to spend winning on new house

Racing NSW has purchased the historic Castlereagh home of the legendary trainer Bart Cummings.

The approximately 137-acre property near Windsor/Richmond in the Sydney Basin has been owned by the Cummings family for three generations.

The farm featured three houses, including a homestead, an office, three stables, irrigation infrastructure, as well as shedding, grain storage, 67 day yards, round yards and a 1000 metre sand-based exercise track.

Cummings, who passed away in 2015, is regarded as one of Australia’s greatest ever race horse trainers and is particularly noted for training 12 Melbourne Cup winners.

Inglis Rural Property agent Sam Triggs marketed the property to domestic and international thoroughbred groups, including high profile trainers and breeders.

Racing NSW Chairman, Russell Balding, said the purchase will be a valuable asset to the horse racing industry.

“Naturally we sought to keep this historic property in the industry’s ownership,” he said.

“It has enormous opportunity for the NSW Thoroughbred Racing Industry including the establishment of a Racing Academy which will not only be used for the training of jockeys, trackwork riders, stablehands but for all racings workforce.

“The property will also be used as the show piece for the Horse Rehabilitation Program and for a Quarantine Station.”

The group indicated they would consider changing the name of the property to the Bart Cummings Farm.

The bidding at the Sunday onsite auction stopped at $5.6 million for the 42 hectare Maleny holding, marketed as one of Australia's most impressive equestrian facilities, located an hour from the Doomben race track.

Dean Shannon, the former Ladbrokes Australia CEO, has had an affiliation with horses, and not just through his work.
The keen horse enthusiast and wife Kelly, who shares his love of horses, recently sold an equestrian properties in the Gold Coast hinterland, and is now seeking to sell another in the Sunshine Coast hinterland.
The 42 hectare Sunshine Coast property in Maleny is one of Australia's most impressive equestrian facilities, located an hour from the Doomben race track.
When Shannon paid $7 million for the property in 2009, he changed the name from Tengarra Park to Montana Park. 
The stable complex is the focal point.
It features 10 double-sized broodmare boxes, two stallion boxes, wash bays, a vet room, horse scales, tack room, rug room and feed room.
The stable complex had been the showpiece of the previous owners, show jumping couple David and Pam Courtice, who developed the property from a run-down dairy farm with 100-year-old fencing, pig pens and barbed wire.
