Moelis joint managing director Chris Wyke has spent a record $5.1 million on his weekender near Berry.
The UK-bon businessman has emerged as the buyer of Kerseydale in Broughton Vale, setting a record for the area.
The 4.2 hectare, 1920s farm had its homestead completely transformed in to a Hamptons-style homestead in 2012, before it was made the cover of Shoalhaven Amazing Homes Magazine.

Wyke is based in Walmer House, the $7.2 million Wollstonecraft mansion bought under his wife, Tennis NSW director Anna’s name in 2015. 
Chris worked in investment banking for JP Morgan and UBS in London, Singapore and Sydney before joining Moelis in 2009. He was made joint chief executive officer earlier this year along side Julian Biggins, having been managing director for over a decade.

It was Amy’s mother Carol Willesee who initially ran a herd of Murray Grey cattle at the former dairy after its 2003 acquisition.
The family will stay in the area, but focus more on writing. The duo wrote Love And Death In Kathmandu.

Willesee media family sell Berry's Willow Farm

Natalia Bradshaw is selling Pachamama, her Berry district retreat, as city life calls for the international curator of contemporary art.
The 12ha Wattamolla estate, 15 minutes from Berry and five minutes from Kangaroo Valley village, comes with mountain and countryside views.
It has four bedrooms and three fireplaces. The Wattamolla Rd grounds have two swimming holes, two waterfalls and a sunset firepit.

Wattamolla has seen five sales in the past two years ranging from $1.35 million to $2.7 million. Its top sale was $3.2 million for 200ha in 2012.
Bradshaw, who moved to Australia in the 1980s from Canada, has worked at the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Art Gallery of NSW.
She is chair of the University of NSW’s Art &amp; Design Advisory Council and trustee of the Australian Museum Foundation.
She became an art adviser in 2004 for private, corporate and public collections.

Since 2014, the 65 hectare grass-fed sheep and cattle farm has been a popular wedding venue with party shed and bookings year round, but especially September to May.
The homestead is 100 years old, set in its own valley, along with farm stay and a yoga shala.
South Coast Prestige Properties listing agent Carrie Bond said her vendors “love of gardening is the creative force behind the flower beds, orchards and landscaping”.
The rambling country gardens feature roses, hydrangeas, magnolias and a jacaranda.
There are old dairy doors covered in ivy and pergolas dripping with wisteria.
The grounds come with a freshwater creek, ­orchard, veggie garden, a chook run, plus a pond with an island.
It was Amy’s mother, Carol Willesee who ran a herd of Murray Grey cattle at the former dairy after its 2003 acquisition.
The then Botany-based couple took on the farm after Carol, a former model and actor, and ex-wife of television journalist Mike Willesee, died in 2006 from the rare Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease.
It seems Whittaker and Willesee have decided it’s time to write and travel some more.
The duo wrote Love and Death in Kathmandu: A Strange Tale of Royal Murder in 2003.

Professional surfer Owen Wright is selling Ahimsa, his redundant tree-change Berry district retreat.
The Culburra Beach-born wave rider used the property as his refuge while he was recovering from a career-threatening injury.
In late 2015 Wright suffered a traumatic brain injury just before the Pipeline Masters event in Hawaii.
Wright has listed his tree-change escape at Brogers Creek Road, Brogers Creek, since he has moved to the north coast of NSW, where he lives with partner, singer Kita Alexander, and their son.
The property offers privacy, views and private creek frontage.
The one-bedroom home sits in a cleared patch on the 2.39 hectare holding, with a full wall of bi-fold doors opening out to the large ironbark deck.
The kitchen offers a servery window on to the covered deck area.
Even the shower can be open to the outdoors.
Other than the cleared land around the house, the rest of the property is natural rainforest.
Wright, who purchased the Brogers Creek property in 2016 for $765,000, has called it his “little piece of heaven on earth”.
It’s also been used by his sister, fellow professional surfer Tyler.

In early 2017, Wright made a return to professional competition, 15 months on from the head injury.
Wright also owns a three-bedroom apartment in Thirroul, which he bought for $605,000 in 2012.
He has owned in Byron Bay since 2010, when he paid $975,000 for a 1930s Federation home, architecturally designed by Running Dog Design.

Surfer Owen Wright lists Berry district retreat

The Channel Nine chief executive Hugh Marks has spent $4.075 million for a retreat in the Berry hinterland.
It comes as he is announced to lead the Nine-Fairfax merged media company which sees Nine own 51.1% and the weakened Fairfax at 48.9%. 
The family's Shoalhaven weekender is a contemporary, architect-designed residence at Broughton Vale.
Yeramba is set on 40 hectares with about half cleared for livestock.
Much of the rest is natural bushland with a permanent creek, waterfall and rock pools.
It was sold by former NEC and Hewlett-Packard boss Alan Hyde and his wife Joanne.
The marketing of the TDDP Architects-designed home indicated it was "developed on ecological and sustainable principles."
Nick Dale of Belle Property Berry secured the $4.075 million sale. 
The Berry district residential price record was set at $4.75 million last December when Bond University chancellor Annabelle Bennett and her husband <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/news/80247-former-solicitor-general-highlands" target="_blank">David Bennett, QC</a>, bought a 20-hectare retreat from a Macquarie Group executive.
Marks, who was appointed to Nine’s top job in late-2015, has been appointed as the next chief of the Nine Fairfax merged media entity under the chairmanship of Peter Costello.
Mark advised the merged "marks a truly momentous development for Nine’s future."
The existing Nine television and digital businesses, to be known as NEC will become the proprietor of the historic Fairfax mastheads as well as the new majority owner of Domain (60%) and the Macquarie Radio Network (54.5%). 
The transaction Nine will also move to 100% ownership of Stan.
His property purchase, without the precise price, was revealed last weekend by Fairfax Media.
He has been based in Artarmon where he bought his Californian bungalow for $765,000 in 1998.
Last year he spent $2,015,000 on a three-bedroom investment <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/news/75950-channel-nine-boss-hugh-marks-buys-neutral-bay-pad" target="_blank">Neutral Bay</a> pad.
