The Vocation founder and former executive Brett Whitford has sold his Balmoral home.

He was seeking $20 million plus for the home which cost $16 million in 2015 after a 2015 exchange.

It was listed as he intends spending more time at his 57-hectare Angus cattle farm at Jamberoo.

The Balmoral cliff top trophy home had been the home of the recruitment industry pioneer Geoff Morgan and his wife, Roslyn.

The Morgan house had been substantially renovated, while still retaining its 1930s Mediterranean-style.

There are views of Grotto Point, Castle Rock Beach, Clontarf and the rest of the Middle Harbour beauty points along with national park headlands.

The co-founder of recruitment giant Morgan &amp; Banks bought his north-facing 1,100 square metre property in 2004 for $5.25 million.

The five-bedroom, six bathroom house with a gym and pool was sold through local agent Michael Coombs for Whitford who is now the Glenburn Private Capital chairman.

It will likely be the second highest sale this year in Mosman, which has seen some $1.4 billion in sales, according to Domain.

The year was topped by the $22 million sale in February of the Adamo family mansion to Mengyao Ling on Ruby Street.

The third highest sale was $20 million when an Alex Popov-designed residence was sold by the childcare mogul Brendan McAssey to shopping centre estate agent Simon Rooney and his wife Kristen.

Vocation founder Brett Whitford sells Balmoral home

The Balmoral Slopes home of Richard and Jane Freudenstein, listed with a price guide of $23 million to $25 million, fetched $23,733,800 to a Chinese-born Australian buyer.
The seven bedroom home sits on 1650 square metres complete with views across Middle Harbour towards Sydney Heads.
Ray White Lower North Shore agent Geoff Smith had the listing of the property at 1-3 Burran Avenue which sold to Wilson Hui Xiong Xue, the self-described shoe king of China.
“In China, people call me the ‘shoe king’ as more than 1,000 people work for me and we export millions of shoes around the world,” Xue said in a 2011 interview.
Wilson started Fu Qing Feng Sheng Shoes Co Ltd in 1993 and has pursued business in footwear wholesale and retail in Australia from 1997 with 25 retail outlets in NSW and Victoria.
Wilson also has interests in mining, forestry, solar power and resort hotels. He has gold interests in Papua New Guinea and solar power stations in Tonga.
In Australia he is associated with Pilot Energy Limited, an ASX-listed company (ASX:PGY) that is rapidly creating and developing a portfolio of high quality conventional oil and gas assets.
He has been non executive chairman of Pilot Energy Limited since 2016.
Infact he describes himself as an entrepreneur and businessman with 25 years of senior management experience.
"He has an impressive record of establishing and growing new businesses across a breadth of industries.
"In addition to Mr Xue’s business acumen, his extensive international contacts will benefit the company as it implements its growth strategy."
Earlier this month the company agreed to a placement of new ordinary shares at an issue price of $0.03 per share, which was 48 percent higher than the Company’s current share price.

The placement will inject almost $477,000 into the company, enabling it to fund working capital and exploration activities to support future drilling.
Wilson is the honorary president of the Australia Council for the Promotion of Peaceful Reunification of China and the honorary president of the Australian Fuqing Association.

Richard Freudenstein and wife Jane, plus their three daughters, lived in Burran Avenue, Mosman for almost 12 years.
Eight cars can be parked under the tennis court.
“For us it is a downsizing exercise as we now only have one daughter at home,” said Freudenstein, who sits on the REA Group board and is a former CEO of Foxtel and The Australian newspaper.
The Freudensteins aren't planning to move far, spending $11 million in Mosman.

Chinese buyer pays $23,733,800 for Balmoral home of Richard Freudenstein

Good Price Pharmacy co-founders Anthony Yap and wife Hanh My Luu have listed Wandana, their luxury Balmoral home. 
Wandana, translated to 'see far away' in reference to its postcard views of the Brisbane CBD, cost the couple $4,028,888 in 2014.
Set high on the Wentworth Parade hilltop, the architect-designed home was constructed using suspended concrete slab and portal steel.
It has six bedrooms, five bathrooms, a library, home office, two master suites, media room and a swimming pool beside one of the terraces.

They bought the Sante Fe style home in 1980 for $140,000, now with a part ownership by the daughter Ingrid.

He has been the cinematographer for Mad Max 2, Bodyline, Nutty Professor II, Deadcalm and The Longest Yard.
The home away from home for the South Australian has been on the Pacific Palisades in Los Angeles.

West Coast Eagles midfielder Jack Redden has sold his Brisbane base following his move to Perth with wife Aymee in 2015.
Redden listed it <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/news/64151-former-brisbane-lion-jack-redden-lists-in-balmoral" target="_blank">earlier this month</a> and it sold after the first inspection for $1,225,000.

The couple paid $1,027,500 for the four bedroom home in 2013 before adding a deck extension and an in-ground swimming pool.
They were set to update the ground floor until Redden was traded to the West Coast from the Brisbane Lions.
The 26 year old played 129 games for the Queensland club before requesting a trade at the end of the 2015 season. He played another 15 games for the Eagles last year.
Set on 607 square metres and surrounded by established landscaped gardens, the two storey home also comprises two bathrooms and a rumpus room.

The Waterhouse racing clan have undertaken an internal shuffle of ownership of one of their Balmoral Beach luxury apartments.
Louise Raedler-Waterhouse has ended up with young bookie Tom Waterhouse's redundant duplex apartment.
