West Coast Eagles midfielder Jack Redden has sold his Brisbane base following his move to Perth with wife Aymee in 2015.

Redden listed it earlier this month and it sold after the first inspection for $1,225,000.

The Balmoral property was acting as an investment after the couple moved, renting at $1,250 a week.

The couple paid $1,027,500 for the four bedroom home in 2013 before adding a deck extension and an in-ground swimming pool.

They were set to update the ground floor until Redden was traded to the West Coast from the Brisbane Lions.

The 26 year old played 129 games for the Queensland club before requesting a trade at the end of the 2015 season. He played another 15 games for the Eagles last year.

Set on 607 square metres and surrounded by established landscaped gardens, the two storey home also comprises two bathrooms and a rumpus room.

Ray White New Farm’s Karla Lynch sold the home.

Redden has a tenant for his Bulimba home for rent at $680 a week. The three bedroom home cost $640,000 in 2010.
