<a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developers/raise-projects">Raise Projects</a> have this week lodged a redesigned development application for an 11 storey residential tower at 37 Wyandra Street in <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developments/teneriffe-qld">Teneriffe</a>.

The gorgeous new design from <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/architects/cottee-parker-architects">Cottee Parker Architects</a> features cascading gardens, spacious open plan living and even indoor/outdoor soaking baths in some apartments.

The proposal also includes a commercial tenancy on the ground floor and provision for a retail tenancy in the building's lobby.

<a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developers/katarzyna-group">Katarzyna Group</a> have lodged plans for an 800+ sqm rooftop extension to their Cloudland <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developments/Fortitude-Valley-qld">Fortitude Valley</a> venue for a micro-brewery, bar and venue space. 
The proposed extension would be set back from the <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developments/Fortitude-Valley-qld">Ann Street</a> frontage so as to not interrupt the adjoining heritage building, an would provide Cloudland with a fantastic new events space. <h2>Panettiere Developments Lodge plans for ORO Newstead</h2>

<a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developers/panettiere-developments">Panettiere Developments</a> have lodged a HUGE development application in <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developments/Newstead-qld">Newstead</a> today, dubbed ‘<a href="https://www.urban.com.au/new-apartments/oro-newstead-75-longland-street-newstead">ORO Newstead</a>’. The gorgeous 22 storey residential tower located at 75 Longland Street has been designed by <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/architects/urban-solutions-architects">Urban Solutions Architects</a>, with <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/architects/form-landscape-architects">Form Landscape Architects</a> in charge of the proposal’s landscape design. 
At ~74 metres tall, containing 239 apartments and over 6,000sqm of retail and commercial space, <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/new-apartments/oro-newstead-75-longland-street-newstead">ORO</a> would be a major addition to Newstead’s burgeoning area surrounding the Gasworks precinct. The site also benefits from its triple-frontage to Stratton, Londland and Kyabra Streets, with a total site area of over 3,200sqm. <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/new-apartments/oro-newstead-75-longland-street-newstead">ORO’s</a> DA comes with two full floors of shared space across the nineteenth and twentieth floors, comprising a function facility, business centre/co-working space, cinema, gym, bar, sauna and a massive 50+ metre long pool on the rooftop.

Construction begins on The Ambrose

<a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developers/kokoda-property">Kokoda Property’</a>s next Brisbane project, <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/new-apartments/the-ambrose-19-23-mcdougall-street-milton">The Ambrose</a>, has recently begun construction after <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/builders/hutchinson-builders">Hutchinson Builders</a> were appointed as builders. The $150 million luxury residential tower located in McDougall Street in <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developments/milton-qld">Milton</a> features 181 apartments across 19 storeys. 
Designed by <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/architects/cottee-parker-architects">Cottee Parker Architects</a>, the buildings’ façade comprises organic fins and ascending greenery in addition to an earthy palette for the interiors which creates tranquil, light-filled apartments. <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/new-apartments/the-ambrose-19-23-mcdougall-street-milton">The Ambrose</a> will be the second collaboration between <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developers/kokoda-property">Kokoda Property</a> and <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/builders/hutchinson-builders">Hutchinson Builders</a>, with the pair recently completing the two-tower <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/buildings/chester--ella-7-chester-street-newstead">Chester &amp; Ella</a> project in <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developments/newstead-qld">Newstead</a>. 
And it of course wouldn’t be a contemporary Brisbane apartment development without a rooftop recreation deck, which <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developers/kokoda-property">Kokoda Property</a> look to have knocked out of the park on this one. Make sure to take a peek at the exquisite finishes in the bathrooms, and the incredible kitchen islands. 
Construction is scheduled for completion in 2022.

Coredelia Changes Lodged

<a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developers/arklife">Arklife</a> have lodged a minor change development application this week for a 29 storey, build to rent project at <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/new-apartments/cordelia-13-17-cordelia-street-south-brisbane">13-17 Cordelia Street</a> in <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developments/South-Brisbane-qld">South Brisbane</a>. Dubbed ‘<a href="https://www.urban.com.au/new-apartments/cordelia-13-17-cordelia-street-south-brisbane">Cordelia</a>’, the redesign reflects a similar scale of the previous approval, with the new proposal featuring 265 apartments and over 2,400sqm of communal space, in addition to retail and office uses in the heritage premises on site. 
The redesign comes from local firm <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/architects/rothelowman">Rothelowman</a> and features a stunning, six storey sky garden in the centre of the tower, opening up the core to natural light and views. Housing lush subtropical planting, Lat27 have also noted that the skygraden “acts as a series of indoor/outdoor spaces at the mid point of the building that provides residents with a mix of social, relaxation and working environments spread over a number of levels”. 
Capped off by an eclectic rooftop, the tower would also offer residents stunning city views from the gardens and pool area. What do you think of the new design?

<a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developers/pikos" target="_blank">Pikos Property Group</a> have lodged a minor change DA at <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/new-apartments/banyan-tree-residences-8-river-terrace-kangaroo-point" target="_blank">Banyan Tree Residences - 8 River Terrace, Kangaroo Point</a>.

The change includes a slight height increase from the previous approval, and 63 x 3 bed apartments across three buildings, rather than two. The new DA, designed by <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/architects/arkhefield" target="_blank">Arkhefield</a> also includes a rooftop bar and restaurant, with a glass lift providing views on the way up top. Situated on top of the <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developments/kangaroo-point-qld" target="_blank">Kangaroo Point</a> cliffs, the western-facing apartments and rooftop would certainly offer excellent views of the river and CBD.

The development would also be widely seen due to its highly eminent location, and the new <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/architects/arkhefield">Arkhefield</a> design undoubtedly meets the high standard in which the prominent site demands.

<a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developments/maroochydore-qld" target="_blank">Maroochydore</a> is set to become the business and employment hub of the <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developments/sunshine-coast-qld" target="_blank">Sunshine Coast</a>, with the bold Maroochydore City Centre Development Scheme beginning early construction recently. The massive priority development area aims to create a new central business district for the Sunshine Coast through a masterplanned, 60 hectare space situated on council owned land and the former Horton Park Golf Club. 
As part of the masterplan Sunshine Coast Council are currently building a stunning new city hall, designed by <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/architects/cottee-parker-architects" target="_blank">Cottee Parker Architects</a>, and being built by <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developers/mcnab-developments" target="_blank">McNab</a>. The new council headquarters will feature 10 floors totalling approximately 9,400sqm of GFA, a rooftop recreational area and 156 car parking spaces. The building is also targeting both a 5 star NABERS and Green Star rating as a model of sustainable design. 
Sunshine Coast Council aimed to incorporate natural elements in the building’s form, and take occupation of a landmark building with smart, creative and innovative design principles. It’s clear from the renders that <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/architects/cottee-parker-architects" target="_blank">Cottee Parker</a> have done an excellent job in delivering on these requests. 
Council is set to occupy their new city hall building in July 2022.
