Megara, one of Western Australia's leading boutique developers, has embraced the unique interplay of an industrial design aesthetic with an urban village vibe in one of their latest residential offerings, The Foundry

The collection of just 30 apartments, above commercial and retail spaces fronting Newcastle Street, gives residents the opportunity to explore mural-lined streets and immerse themselves in Oxford Street’s vibrant culture in the eclectic, pulsing neighbourhood that is Leederville.

The Foundry experience begins right at the doorstep, with an activated ground floor offering the perfect setting for shopping or relaxed brunches with friends. As residents return home, they are greeted by a three-level-high mural, a visual embodiment of the area's vibrant spirit, while at the entrance, a well-established tree stands as a verdant oasis amidst the dynamic foot traffic of Newcastle Street.

Strategically situated less than three kilometres away from the bustling heart of Perth CBD, The Foundry ensures that its residents enjoy the best of both worlds - a dynamic daytime experience and a vibrant nightlife.

Maine Architecture were tasked with designing the building, with their innovative exterior design capturing the essence of Leederville's history and culture. The façade stands as a bold statement, weaving together an array of materials and textures that pay homage to the area's industrial roots.

Privacy finds its form in semi-frameless glass balustrades, while the play of louvered screening and stainless-steel wire trellises with cascading greenery adds a touch of nature's elegance.

Inside the apartments, form and functionality are at the forefront of the design. The kitchens boast light or dark oak cabinetry, complemented by stone benchtops, intricate splashback tiling, and top-of-the-line Smeg appliances. The bedrooms, adorned with plush light or dark twist pile carpets and full-height robes, extend seamlessly to private balconies that offer sweeping views of the surroundings.

Two and three-bedroom floorplans are still available in the completed development, with prices starting from $749,000.
