The national property developer, Cedar Woods, has already secured over 30 per cent of sales at its recently launched Subiaco apartment development, Incontro Apartments.

The launch of Incontro Apartments comes off the back of the success Incontro Townhouses, in the same community at 133 Salvado Road, which recently sold-out.

DKO Architecture, who handled the designs of the townhouses, have also designed the apartments, with a nod to the site's heritage.

Cedar Woods has been working with DevelopmentWA and the City of Subiaco since 2019 for the development on the former TAFE site, located in the Bishop Street Precinct of the Subiaco Centro Project Area of the Subiaco Redevelopment Area.

Incontro, an Italian word translated to meeting or match, will have 110 apartments across a seven-level building, with views of the city from the upper level apartments.

Residents will have access to an abundant amount of outdoor amenity, including an alfresco kitchen with outdoor dining, lawn area, and a community and herb garden with citrus trees. There's been a conscious effort by Cedar Woods to pivot to the modern world of working from home, with a number of co-working spaces, a lounge, and conference and meeting spaces.

There will be a range of one, two and three-bedroom apartments on offer, priced from $399,000.

Cedar Woods has already seen over 200 registrations, with planning approval recently secured. Residents are expecting to move in in early 2024.

Ben Rosser, Cedar Woods' State Manager in WA, says the team is excited to be launching the apartments following the success of the project’s townhome development.

“After successfully selling out the townhomes earlier this year, Cedar Woods are pleased to be bringing an exciting new offering to an area that holds such high demand,” Rosser said.

“Incontro is situated in a prime location and we’re already reaping the benefits of the Subiaco revival project. It holds fantastic connections to public transport, major medical precincts, Bob Hawke College, and local cafes and restaurants.

“It’s fantastic to be able to provide a high-quality, beautifully designed product to our customers at highly competitive entry prices, with the added bonus of a vibrant lifestyle and community hub.”

Dennis Chew, director at DKO, said their design was created to emulate the future of inner urban living, with thoughtful placement allowing for the creation of an engaged community.

“Every apartment at Incontro has been meticulously planned to ensure the spaces will work to their maximum potential, providing residents with considered, life-enhancing spaces,” Chew said.

“Incorporating a green communal space to the precinct, residents will have the ability to form genuine connections with their community. It encourages conversation and creates an engaging atmosphere outside the four walls of the home. This is the future of inner-urban living.
