Melbourne developer Wickton, in collaboration with Will Leaf's architecture firm Ewert Leaf, has prioritised a balance between aesthetics and sustainability at their Hampton apartment development, Linacre Rise.

Linacre Rise, bringing 27 more apartments to Hampton, was designed to exude openness, brightness and an elevated aesthetic that will also stand the test of time.

Solar panels will be installed to reduce reliance on conventional energy sources, lower electricity bills, and decrease the building's carbon footprint.

A rainwater harvesting system will collect and store rainwater, which is then used for toilet flushing and landscape irrigation. This system conserves potable water and reduces overall water consumption.

The development will also be equipped with low-flow toilets and faucets, as well as efficient dishwashers, to minimize water usage without sacrificing performance.

Shared EV charging stations will be available to support the transition to electric vehicles by providing convenient charging options for residents.

Located next to Linacre Private Hospital and within a few hundred metres of Peace Park, Sandringham Golf Club, and Sandringham Beach, Linacre Rise's location also supports convenient access to essential local amenities, encouraging residents to walk or bike.

Appointed builder Balmain & Co is anticipating a Q1 2025 completion for Linacre Rise.
