Melbourne-based Chinese property developer Holder East has successfully completed a string of townhouse and apartment developments across the city.

Construction is currently underway on their South Melbourne project Oasis Residences, which will deliver a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, as well as duplex homes and penthouses.

They're also currently developing Monte 8, a small collection of townhouses in Doncaster East.

Monte 8, named after its location at 8 Montgomery Street, has been designed by architecture firm DKO.

The design group marries the area's rich apple orchard history with the elegance of classic heritage homes, resulting in a collection of homes that take on heritage design cues as well as earthy finishes that pay homage to the region's past.

The statement rangehood shroud in the kitchen adds a touch of dynamic modernity but also creates a striking contrast to the brushed nickel tapware and sleek black glass Bosch appliances.

The bathrooms and ensuites at Monté 8 draw inspiration from the opulence of luxury spa hotels. The same brushed nickel tapware and accessories that feature in the kitchen extend into these spaces, while stone countertops and basins exude a sense of understated luxury, coupled with mirrored wall cabinets and generous under-counter storage.

The focal point of the bathrooms however are the bath tubs and double showers, featuring both overhead rain shower heads and hand-held shower wands.

The remaining four-bedroom townhouses span from 177 sqm. They are priced from $1,323,000.
