MONNO Projects appoint builder for luxury Geelong residential development, Stella Maris
MONNO has appointed Ireland Brown Constructions to build their once-in-a-generation Rippleside development, Stella Maris.
Stella Maris, on the fringe of Geelong on a prized 1.25-hectare waterfront site which hadn't traded hands in over a century, will home 54 apartments, townhouses and duplexes across four buildings.
The buildings Nautica House, The Arbory and Park Row are at the forefront of the site. Meanwhile, the three-level The Acreage offers a versatile range of apartments and duplexes with dual east and west aspects.
They're all being built around the historic St Helen's Mansion, the 1848 stately mansion which sits at the heart of the development. That will sit on a 3,000 sqm subdivided allotment and will be extended by Carr and sit in landscaping from Acre. That will be released to the market soon.
As per all luxury developments, a comprehensive wellness centre will find a home within Stella Maris. There will be a 20-metre lap pool, gym, yoga and steam room, an edible garden, dog washing facilities and EV charging bays.

Rothelowman handled the design of Stella Maris, with senior associate Nick William telling Urban the design brief from MONNO Projects was to create a dynamic community nestled within the embrace of nature's bounty.
"Our design brief for Stella Maris was to create a dynamic community immersed in nature, with a focus on natural green spaces and a lush garden setting," Williams said, noting the proximity to Corio Bay played a vital role in shaping their vision.

With more than half of the residences already sold since its launch in November 2022, off-the-plan stamp duty savings will remain in place until construction officially commences.
Ireland Brown Constructions is an award-winning commercial construction company based in Melbourne, with nine other multi-level residential projects, mainly around Geelong and Malvern East. They're expecting to complete the build in mid-2025.
