Developer Point Polaris is expecting buyers in its Altona apartment development, Lido, to move in by the end of the year.

They've sold 80 per cent of the 30 apartments on Sargood Street, a stone's throw from the water. B Central is currently building the project, which is slated for completion in the coming months.

Lido's design reflects Bruce Henderson Architects' vision to blend the coastal and contemporary aspects of Altona. Expansive windows invite panoramic views of the city and the sea, welcoming abundant natural light to fill the living spaces.

Lush green terraces, along with contemporary features like mesh cladding and bronzed glass, lend a sense of privacy while adding an innovative touch to the suburb's streetscape.

The ground floor of the development features retail spaces, fostering an inviting arrival to the apartments.

The seaside village is one of Melbourne's fastest-emerging areas, and residents of Lido are at the heart of it all. The beach is just a stone's throw away, while the Pier St Village, a vibrant hub of activity, lies only a block away, providing convenient access to an array of amenities.

Parks and recreation centres are also within easy reach, while Altona's accessibility further enhances its appeal, with  public transport links making commuting a breeze.

Two and three-bedroom apartments are still available, with prices starting from $597,000.
