Architecture and construction firm mckimm has played a big hand in bringing a touch of modern to Melbourne's Bayside over the last decade, delivering a swathe of residential developments across the area.

In 2021 they completed their Brighton project Luce, which comprises just seven apartments and two penthouses, with a focus on spaciousness, contemporary design, and premium finishes.

Set on a 1400 sqm Adamson Street site, Luce provides a limited number of dwellings, ensuring a sense of exclusivity and privacy for its residents. The apartments range in size from 165 sqm through to 295 sqm, boasting two or three-bedrooms across three floor levels, including basement parking.

From the moment owners and guests step into Luce, they are greeted by an impressive lobby featuring a double-height void. This grand entrance sets the tone for the luxurious living experience that awaits within.

The living zones of each apartment have been thoughtfully designed to maximise the seamless indoor and outdoor flow, allowing an abundance of natural light to flood the interiors.

The homes feature solid materials, intelligent acoustics, and structural integrity, each hallmarks of mckimm's work.

Situated just a few hundred metres from Church Street, Luce enjoys a prime location, only 11 kilometres from Melbourne's bustling city centre.

The sought-after address offers residents easy access to some of the city's best restaurants, pristine beaches, and renowned golf courses.

Two and three-bedroom floorplans are still available in the development, with prices starting from $2.6 million, with each of the homes benefitting from two car spaces.
