Earlier this year off the plan buyers moved into JWLand's The Grounds of Ivanhoe East, the striking mini-masterplanned development in Melbourne's Ivanhoe East.

Situated just nine kilometres northeast of Melbourne’s CBD, The Grounds of Ivanhoe East comprises a collection of townhouses and a trio of apartment buildings surrounding by extensive landscaping.

The Grounds of Ivanhoe East's limited collection of two-level townhomes, Oak Terraces, boast a facade blending brickwork, textural concrete render, and Monument-finished metals inspired by the grand homes of Ivanhoe East.

Oak Terraces feature engineered wide timber floorboards and a controlled neutral palette, creating a warm and light-filled canvas. Large windows maximise natural light, offering views that blend the indoors and the outdoors.

These two-level homes provide independent entries, outdoor terraces on both levels and a lockable garage for two cars. Attention to detail extends to carefully selected features and finishes adorning each townhome.

Entertainers’ kitchens showcase premium SMEG appliances and a Vintec 50-bottle wine fridge, complemented by polished stone benchtops and satin finishes.

The stone island bench, serving as an available workspace or as an extra dining zone or bar, subtly separates the kitchen while maintaining a connection to the dining area and lounge.

Catering to different lifestyles, the floor plans incorporated extended living zones and spacious upper-level landings for additional lounges, home offices, or media rooms.

Meanwhile, The Grounds of Ivanhoe East's trio of apartment buildings — Wilfred, Wamba, and The Boulevard — offer two, three, and four-bedroom configurations overlooking gardens and the city skyline.

Each apartment maximises natural light through floor-to-ceiling glass doors to connect the open-plan living areas to the outdoors—an extended space for entertaining.

Bedrooms and bathrooms in both townhomes and apartments are spacious and light-filled.

Bedrooms feature clean, plush wool carpets and full-height wardrobes concealed behind panels of satin finish joinery, while master suites are equipped with walk-through robes as a private dressing room.

Bathrooms boast floor-to-ceiling tiling and stone vanities with elegant squared basins and tapware. Some master ensuites include a sculptural, freestanding bath and heated under-tile flooring.

JWLand has emphasised community and the environment at The Grounds, with more than 15,000 sqm of land dedicated to gardens and public spaces.

"When forming the masterplan for The Grounds, we focused on creating this landscaped environment where residents are still connected to nature, without having to maintain their own gardens,” stated JWLand’s Project Marketing Manager, Nick Babic.

Limited two and three-bedroom apartments and three-bedroom townhomes remain at The Grounds of Ivanhoe East.
