The Hugo, which was developed to look to the future, has sold 65 per cent of its apartments.

The Ballarat Road project in Footscray by Faymus Developments has just 23 apartments, each solar-powered and fitted with state-of-the-art interactive technology.

They were designed by architect John Demos for an evolving climate, with ample natural light and fresh air.

When it came to developing The Hugo, Faymus said the question was no longer "what should we build?' but rather 'why should we build?'

"At The Hugo, we believe that your home is integral to the story of your life," Faymus said.

"That’s why telling amazing stories through architecture is at the heart of everything we do.

"In the early stages of our development, we set out to find compelling narratives that would define the next chapter of our lives – and yours. From a pair of Toorak retirees who moved to Footscray for a change of scenery, to a young family who migrated to Australia for a better life, our apartments are intentional, beautiful, and focused on your needs."

The Hugo comprises just one and two-bedroom apartments. All of the one-bedroom apartments have been sold.

"Each apartment has been carefully curated with exquisite materials and a colour palette that reflects Australia’s rich landscape," Fyamus added.

"This perfect blend between modern aesthetics and genuine functionality is eclectic, and authentically captures the charm of the Footscray area."

Nestled in the heart of Footscray, The Hugo enjoys an ideal location. With easy access to shops, schools, public transport, parklands, and the bustling Melbourne CBD, residents will find themselves well-connected to the best the area has to offer.

The remaining two-bedroom apartments, which each have two bathrooms and one car space, start from $515,000.
