Melbourne developer Dahua Group completed their striking Hawthorn Park development, with Melbourne's first ever suspended sky pool, in 2021.

They put together a great project team, architecture firm Rothelowman, landscaper Jack Merlo, and builder Hickory, for the Hawthorn East project, which was inspired by Machu Picchu, a UNESCO World Heritage site nestled high in the Peruvian Andes.

Rothelowman aimed to capture the essence of the ancient Incan ruins' harmonious integration with nature, and they successfully translated this vision into the vibrant design of Hawthorn Park.

Situated on an expansive 1.2-hectare site, Hawthorn Park boasts lush green spaces, curated gardens, and a central courtyard reminiscent of Machu Picchu's terraced landscapes.

The use of natural materials, such as stone and timber, further enhances the development's organic aesthetic, seamlessly blending with the surrounding environment.

Step inside the thoughtfully crafted homes, and residents are greeted by open-plan living areas flooded with natural light. Expansive floor-to-ceiling windows not only provide views of the surrounding greenery but also create a seamless connection between the indoors and outdoors.

The residences at Hawthorn Park boast premium finishes and fixtures, showcasing the utmost attention to detail. Designer kitchens, complete with top-of-the-line appliances, and luxurious bathrooms featuring stone accents, add a touch of sophistication to every living space.

Hawthorn Park offers an array of world-class amenities designed to enrich the lifestyles of its residents.

The centrepiece of the development is a glass-bottomed swimming pool that spans between buildings and over the plaza, creating a spectacular front door to the project while also serving as the location for the comprehensive resident amenity floor.

Rothelowman Senior Associate Frances Hall said it was the feature of the development they were most looking forward to seeing.

For those who appreciate the finer things in life, Hawthorn Park features an exclusive residents' lounge, perfect for hosting social gatherings or simply unwinding after a long day. Additionally, beautifully landscaped gardens and barbecue facilities provide ample opportunities for outdoor recreation and entertainment.

Within close proximity, residents can explore the vibrant retail and dining precincts of Camberwell, Glenferrie Road, and Hawthorn, offering an abundance of options for shopping, entertainment, and culinary delights.

Transportation is a breeze, with Hawthorn Park conveniently located near several tram and train stations, providing seamless connectivity to Melbourne's CBD and surrounding areas, while the prestigious schools and universities in the vicinity make it an ideal location for families seeking educational excellence.

One, two and three-bedroom apartments are remaining in the development, with prices for a one-bedroom apartment starting from $666,000.
