Boutique apartment development launches in Footscray
Melbourne's Footscray is continuing its gentrification with a boutique apartment development recently launched on Victoria Street.
The project, simply named 11 Victoria Street due to its prime position on the connected street, comprises just 18 one, two and three-bedroom apartments which start from $415,000.
The wide variety of configurations will likely attract young professionals and local downsizers who haven't had much of an opportunity to buy a brand new apartment in a low-rise building.
The contemporary apartments feature timber floorboards throughout and high 2.7-metre ceilings.
The kitchens are well equipped with Bosch appliances, complemented by Caesarstone benchtops paired with gunmetal grey fittings and modern gold handles.
The bathrooms follow suit with matching Caesarstone benchtops, gunmetal grey fittings, curved-edge vanities, and round basin combos set against contemporary feature tiles.
The carpeted bedrooms include built-in robes and dedicated ceiling fans, while efficient air conditioning and heating ensure year-round comfort for residents throughout the home.
11 Victoria sits at the northern end of Victoria Street, right next to Barkly Street and its bars and restaurants. The project is just a short walk down either Barkly or Paisley streets to the Footscray Plaza shopping mall.
11 Victoria Street is currently under construction by builder developer Buckner Built, who is targeting a December 2024 completion date.
