Lendlease Development has appointed the local Melbourne builder, Balmain & Co construct their latest Richmond project, Gramercy Terraces.

The industrial brick façade will be built by the Melbourne construction company, which has previously collaborated with SMA Projects and CDG Developments.

“A trusted development team has never been more important than now. Lendlease and Bates Smart have partnered seamlessly to present Gramercy Terraces to be delivered by Balmain & Cor the next 12 months", Bracken Hall's Andrew Hall said.

"With only two of 14 [townhouses] remaining, the market has seen what we saw, impeccable design and finish in iconic Bendigo St", Hall added.

Shaped by the heritage precinct of Bendigo Street, the three and four-bedroom freehold homes are designed to deliver grand floorplans and refined contemporary finishes.

Formerly the grounds of ‘Studio Nine’, and once the site of the Wertheim Piano Factory, the development’s namesake is a nod to music legends and the rich musical history of the site.

Each residence, designed by architects Bates Smart, features grand floorplans and offer unrivalled space in an exclusive Richmond setting.

Residences in the inner-city development start from $1.945 million, with prices reaching $2.245 million for a four-bedroom townhome.

With construction commencing later this year and just two properties remaining, this is the last chance for prospective buyers to secure a home at Gramercy.
