Punton's Apartments, a new development in Melbourne's Ivanhoe, dates back over a century.

Frank Punton founded Punton's Shoes in the 1920's. Punton's became a familiar name in Melbourne's retail scene, leaving a lasting legacy.

In 1968, his daughter, Lorna Rouch (nee Punton), and a lifelong Ivanhoe resident, acquired 103-109 Upper Heidelberg Road, with the location becoming home to the shoe business, and still occupied by Punton and Rouch family businesses. Now the Heidelberg Road site is set for 27 modern apartments above ground floor retail.

Punton's Apartments embrace the bygone era, discreetly set behind an Art Deco-inspired facade that complements Ivanhoe's heritage, with each home boasting an abundance of natural light and views.

The apartments, developed by Rouch Brothers, showcase individual designs with high-end finishes, as well as an 8-star energy rating. Among the notable features are elevated views, Bertazzoni cooktops and ovens, stone benchtops, and high ceilings.

Residents also enjoy timber flooring in living areas, pendant lights, and large balconies, while most also benefit from a study or study nook, a storage cage and bike storage.

The development also features a collection of larger two-level townhouse apartments and penthouse terraces. These homes include two-bedroom, two-bathrooms, a powder room and a study nook.

Similar to the apartments, they come with Bertazzoni appliances, stone benchtops, engineered oak timber flooring, and frameless showers, as well as the convenience of two car parks, a storage cage and bike storage.
