Tinkler horse stud close to $9 million plus sale

Mining tycoon Nathan Tinkler’s Richmond Grove thoroughbred stud farm in the NSW upper Hunter Valley is close to a $9.2 million sale, according to The Australian.

It cost around $26 million to amalgamate.

The sale will see billionaire retailer Gerry Harvey secure the last $10 million owed by Mr Tinkler, who was declared bankrupt this year.

Richmond Grove is a 1337ha stud farm amalgamating seven adjoining properties at Sandy Hollow.

According to Neil Cussen, partner with administrator Deloitte, the listing agent Chris Meares has two interested parties.
