It is in the Shoalhaven hamlet Bundewallah, set 4 kilometres from Berry on the South Coast.

They have bought a four-bedroom 1930s homestead for $1,837,500 which was on the market for just three weeks.

It had a $1.9 million asking price.

It last sold at $815,000 in 2014.

It is a renovated four bedroom, two bathroom country home marketed as where original features are combined with all modern conveniences.

There is a double garage with studio and workshop space.

The property comes with farm shed, stock yard, 2.5 acres plus horse paddock, with room for a pool.

There is a wide north facing verandah with district views on the cul-de-sac holding.

The couple are yet to sell their Alexandria apartment that passed in at auction on a vendor bid three weeks ago, The Sunday Telegraph reported.

It is for sale at $1.6 million.
