Sydney's celebrity butcher, the Vic's Meats co-owner, Anthony Puharich and wife Rebecca are off to Queens Park, where they have paid $3,985,000 for a contemporary Fox Johnston-designed home.

The front of the original freestanding home comprises a wide entry hall, three bedrooms and a living room, while the split-level extension has an open plan kitchen, dining and living zone, complete with sliding glass walls to open to an alfresco barbecue area and landscaped rear garden.

The extension also has the parents' retreat with a walk in dressing room, ensuite, balcony and separate study.

A separate self-contained studio sits on the 430 sqm Newland Street parcel.

The home was a finalist in the 2013 Waverley Council Architecture Awards.

Phillips Pantzer Donnelley agents Debbie Donnelley and Nick Quilkey sold the home to the couple who once called Northwood home.

Anthony and butcher father Victor teamed up in 1996 to create Vic's Premium Quality Meat wholesaling business.
