Singer Mahalia Barnes and musician husband Ben Rodgers have sold their Redfern Watertower factory conversion after it was pulled from auction last month.

The Berrima-bound musical couple reduced their asking price from $1,475,000 to $1,425,000, prompting the sale through BresicWhitney agent Charles Touma.

Renovated since their $665,000 purchase in 2010, the three bedroom, two bathroom apartment comes with a space that Barnes converted into a studio for musos to work in.

The split level apartment has 115 sqm inside space.

The couple have bought in Berrima to be closer to her rock legend father Jimmy Barnes, who lives in Bowral.
