Popular property television series Selling Houses Australia has selected a Cobbitty property for its next series given that it has been languishing on the market.

The inspectees at a recent open for inspection were told to come back once the renovation of the three bedroom home was undertaken by property expert Andrew Winter, the landscaper Charlie Albone and interior designer Shaynna Blaze.

Though it has been advertised by United Acreage agent Tanya Novek as an opportunity to 'build your dream home and remove the existing older style dwelling'.

The three bedroom home on 2,000 sqm has been on the market for over five months, coming with a price guide of between $778,000 to $865,000.

It last traded for $349,500 in 2002.

The Foxtel Lifestyle show, which dispenses advice on the property's sellability, is in its ninth series.

It has won ASTRA Awards for Most Outstanding Lifestyle Program and Viewer's Favourite Program, as well as often being the highest rated Lifestyle Channel series.
