Sea Eagles legend Anthony 'Choc' Watmough sells at Dee Why

Anthony 'Choc' Watmough, the Manly Sea Eagles legend, has sold his Dee Why investment unit.

The apartment was first listed in early 2017 before the former State of Origin second rower decided to pull it from its auction and slap on an $895,000 price tag.

It then became a $650 a week rental.

Watmough took $750,000 when it was marketed by new listing agent, Clarke & Humel Manly's Jordan Galpin.

The two bedroom unit on the top floor of a 1970's blond-brick building sits opposite James Meehan reserve and near Dee Why Beach.

Watmough paid $580,000 in 2013 when he was coming to the end of his tenure at the Sea Eagles and rented it out at $580 a week. 

Watmough has been based nearby since 2012 when he paid $1.73 million for a three level, five bedroom home with wife Elle McLeod.

Watmough, who is now behind a Sydney CBD pop-up Lebanese restaurant, Cubby’s Kitchen, started his career in 2002 at the Northern Eagles.

The couple have a two year old daughter Jagger Rose.

During his 11 year stint at the Sea Eagles he won the 2008 Grand Final against Melbourne Storm, the team they were defeated by in the final the year before.

He spent his final season in the NRL at the Parrmatta Eels where he had to retire because of a career-ending knee injury.
