Key players in the Australian property market are reactively pivoting their business strategies to adapt to the current market conditions regarding COVID-19.

Urban's Jake Taylor caught up with property developer Illan Samuel about how Samuel Property is assisting buyers looking to purchase property during this time.

Jake and Illan discuss the importance of providing buyers with ample material for their due diligence research, including floor plans, brochures, pricing, and the developer's track record. Illan also shares the fact that, as a developer, you have a responsibility to uphold, even when times get tough.

"Developments aren't a month to month proposition, they're a years on years proposition, so it's very important to us not to lose sight of our end goal. ...We're just trying to be positive and visible, and not shy away from those end goals."

An approach Samuel Property believe is crucial to obtaining buyer confidence, is to maintain contact throughout the construction journey with regular project updates and information. Jake also explains that video has become an essential tool for helping buyers conduct remote property development research.
