Tech billionaire Mike Cannon-Brookes is whispered to have secured a very grand Southern Highlands country estate.

The Atlassian founder is tipped to emerge as the $5.35 million buyer of Rosehill Farm, the 45 hectare property in Kangaloon.

Complete with Richard Rowe-designed homestead, Rosehill Farm features a designer country farmhouse, complete with interiors styled by Coco Republic. It sits in gardens by landscaped architect Michael Bligh.

The English style walled garden areas feature an orchard, veggie gardens, croquet lawns and outdoor alfresco spaces under wisteria covered pergola complete with fireplace and pizza oven.

The 2005-built Australian homestead with a wrap-around verandah, incorporated elements of New England architecture.

Spanning 540 sqm of internal living, the five bedrooms home has a gym, study, and a walk-in cool room for catering.

Completing the farm element is a stable complex, barn machinery shed, two horse stalls and a dressage arena. There's also a self-contained studio on the property.

The family already owns in the highlands, Joadja Creek Farm, a 390 hectare farm bought for $3.3 million in 2016. 

Rosehill last sold in 2016.

Funds manager Will Liley and his UK born artist wife Janice sold to entreprenuer Rose Deo for $4.8 million through estate agent Deborah Cullen.
