Retired AFL forward Jarrad Waite sells in Strathmore

Retired AFL key forward Jarrad Waite and his wife Jackie have sold their Strathmore house.

The former North Melbourne and Carlton star was seeking $1.35 million to $1.46 million for their home of three years.

Situated at, 2 Head Street, it last sold in 2016 for $1.4 million.

Alexkarbon director Charles Bongiovanni who was marketing the property did not reveal the pre-auction price.

The couple had initially planned to level the three-bedroom house and build a new residence entered around a pool on the 655 sqm block.

But a change in circumstances led to them refurbishing the post-war home instead.

The couple also offloaded a double-storey Strathmore unit that had been an investment property, for $750,000 in April last year.
