REIV elects industry veteran Geoff White president

The Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV) has announced Geoff White as its elected president for 2015-16, his second stint after serving in 2003-04.

White is an REIV veteran. He was director of REIV from 1999–2007 and 2014-2015, and has served on numerous REIV committees and as chairman of the auction chapter committee.

He started his real estate career in 1984 and has since managed and sold residential, commercial and industrial property, owned his own real estate offices and served as CEO of a growing franchise group.

White is currently commercial manager and branch manager for Lucas Real Estate's Yarra Edge office.

“The REIV Board is united in its focus to improve our real estate profession and follow the good work of the previous Board,” he said.

Two new office bearers were also elected to office for 2015-16 – Joseph Walton (Senior Vice President) and Frank Hellier (Vice President).
