UNIQ Bundall: Unique townhomes in both location and availability

UNIQ Bundall: Unique townhomes in both location and availability
Urban EditorialJanuary 24, 2024LOCATION

UNIQ Bundall, the new riverfront townhouse development by Devlink, is really offering a point of difference in the Gold Coast off the plan market.

Situated on a prime site on Waterford Court, a small cul-de-sac street with just a handful of homes that front the river, UNIQ takes up an unrepeatable spot within a few minutes walk from the Gold Coast Turf Club.

The latest census data also shows how rare of a proposition UNIQ is. Less than 20 per cent of the dwellings in Bundall are townhouses, the latest ABS data showed. Nearly 75 per cent are separate houses. A townhouse opportunity doesn't come along often, and an opportunity to buy brand only presents itself every few years.

The location is one of the most standout factors of UNIQ.

The collection of 22 three-level, four-bedroom townhouses, half of which feature a rooftop terrace looking across the Gold Coast skyline, is on the corner of Waterford Court and Racecourse Drive, making it a three-minute walk to the Turf Club, set for a $370 million redevelopment, and five minutes to the Southport Golf Club, one of Queensland's most prestigious private member clubs.

The townhouses are also only a 15-minute walk away from HOTA, the cultural home of the Gold Coast and the restaurants of Thomas Drive on Chevron Island.

Nestled next to Evandale Lake, a natural swimming pool, HOTA has undergone numerous upgrades and expansions as part of the Gold Coast Cultural Precinct 15 year master plan.

HOTA is filled with local and international art exhibits as well as weekly fresh food markets, a cinema, restaurants, park lands, river ferry terminal, natural swimming pool, park run, comedy club and regular live concerts.

When the UNIQ townhomes are completed in late 2024, residents will be just across the water from a new lifestyle precinct which is currently in planning with the Gold Coast City Council.

The future Sunlight Lifestyle Precinct is a joint development between Aquis Australia and the Gold Coast Turf Club. The project will comprise eight luxury accommodation buildings across 1.8 hectares of land as well as a significant ground plane with a number of retail and commercial tenancies.

There are a number of pocket parks within close proximity such as the Scenic Dog Park, directly accessed from UNIQ Bundall via a riverside path, Bob Huth Park and Poinciana Reserve. And for those who enjoy life on the water, a number of public boat ramps leading to the Nerang River are just minutes away.

Family buyers will be attracted to the nearby school network, with Ashmore's Bellevue Park State School, Saint Hilda's School and The Southport School all within close proximity. There's also higher education campuses of Griffith and Bond University.
