Brisbane developer Pradella have commenced construction on the final residential development at their Riverside West End precinct, The Lanes.

The Lanes will start to take shape over the coming months with completion of stage one, Wave Residences, expected in late 2024.

Over 70 per cent of the 138 Wave Residences apartments have been sold following strong demand for large apartments.

Pradella Sales and Marketing Director Lee-Anne Kielar said Pradella is thrilled to have launched the construction of The Lanes following its announcement only six months ago.

“It’s wonderful to see our West End projects thriving and we’re excited to announce the construction of the crown jewel in the Riverside West End precinct, The Lanes,” Kielar said.

“The Lanes is Pradella’s final residential development in West End and the concluding development in our $1.3 billion masterplan, and we’re pleased to be able to finish things off on a grand scale."

Designed by bureau^proberts, The Lanes is one of 12 residential projects delivered by Pradella within the Riverside West End precinct in the past decade.

Fast-tracking to keep up with demand, the group has evolved their residential offering at The Lanes to keep up with buyer requirements, incorporating a suite of resort-style amenities, including an outdoor cinema, a steam room, and a mineral pool.

There will be 4500 sqm of recreational space with 2000 sqm dedicated to the 12th floor rooftop retreat.

Position Property Director  Richard Lawrence said that the level of resident-only amenity offered at The Lanes is unprecedented in the inner-city apartment market today.

“With the last few years behind us it’s clear that demand has shifted in the apartment market, with buyers now looking for living options that are as inclusive as possible offering everything you need for life at home,” Lawrence said.

“Pradella has constantly innovated when it comes to amenities, with rooftop yoga lawns and five-star private dining spaces among some of the stand-out features of The Lanes.”

From its inception, Riverside West End was inspired by its unique location within this well connected West End peninsula.

The $1.3 billion development will also feature a new community park, a private dog park and the completion of Tondara Lane within the Montague Markets precinct upon completion.
