Bastion Property Group has secured more than $30 million in sales for Nera Residences in a little over two months of the project’s official launch.

The $145 million development, which comprises apartments, six skyhomes and a full-floor penthouse, has been inundated with local buyers keen to lock in the walkable village lifestyle of the island suburb.

The sales surge takes Nera Residences closer to a construction start after Bastion secured development approval late last year.

Sales so far have comprised of a blend of two-bedroom apartments from $1.2 million to $1.65 million, as well as half-floor, three-bedroom apartments from $2.2 million to $3.5 million.

“Local buyers have been quick to identify the unique offering at Nera Residences, with some buyers already existing Chevron Island residents,” said Alex De Vincentiis, managing director of project marketer ONE:PM.

“Interstate buyers have also been among the early movers with many noting the value that Nera Residences represents for a central Gold Coast location.”

Nera Residences, located at the northern end of Chevron at 8-10 Parneno Street is just a short stroll to Surfers Paradise and Chevron Island’s retail and dining hub.

“The pre-launch campaign garnered hundreds of inquiries and secured several firm commitments from buyers. This momentum has persisted well beyond the initial quarter", De Vincentiis said.

“Many of our buyers were already sold on Chevron Island for its unique positioning alongside the bustle of Surfers Paradise, and the easy access to the light rail and the city’s emerging cultural precinct at Evandale. But they have been equally impressed with the superb designs of Nera’s residences and the amenities that residents will enjoy.”

Award-winning firm BDA Architecture and Paradigm Design Studio have crafted Nera Residences to offer large, open floorplans and generous balconies in an array of two- and three-bedroom layout options with luxe fittings and inclusions.

Rising 28 levels, many Nera apartments will take advantage of 360-degree views of the ocean, river and hinterland. Oversized windows will invite in ample natural light, creating an alluring atmosphere to capture the essence of Gold Coast lifestyle.

Nera’s residents will enjoy luxurious rooftop amenities, including an infinity pool, wellness spa, which includes sauna and cold-water therapy, fitness centre with hinterland view, exclusive Residence Lounge and Private Dining Room, fire pit, and a dedicated unique yoga platform.

Bastion Property Group, a company backed by a private consortium of experienced national and international developers, developed and built by Bastion, construction of Nera Residences starts in the next few months.

Nera Residences’ exceptional sales response from the market within just 10 weeks of the official launch has affirmed our vision for this unique project,” said Alex Wood, Basiton director.

“Nera is setting a new standard for Chevron Island and after finalising final refinements to the design, our team is looking forward to progressing project to the construction stage.”

Bastion Property Group anticipates Nera Residences will welcome its first residents in 2026.
