One of the Gold Coast’s greenest towers, 26 Vista, is set to become greener, with the announcement on a new partnership with mobility company Outbound.

Outbound will provide residents with exclusive EV car sharing services, making it one of the first residential buildings on the Gold Coast to do so.

Residents will get access to a fleet of EV’s, which can be reserved and accessed via a customised 26 Vista resident app, encouraging residents to reduce the need for private car ownership. The lack of necessity of a private car is heightened given 26 Vista’s location, ideally positioned on the Gold Coast light rail.

Outbound CEO Luke Rust said the partnership with developer MRCB International at 26 Vista signals the first residential partnership in Queensland for the tech transport startup.

"The project is a real showcase of what’s possible when developers prioritise convenience, luxury and sustainability for the benefit of their residents. Electric car sharing is an accelerating trend in buildings around the world and we’re excited to be pioneering the concept in Queensland,” Rust said.

MRCB International has employed a number of green initiatives for 26 Vista, including adopting an all-electric solution and eliminating gas via SUPA Energy, Australia’s most progressive energy solution.

Outbound’s EV charging stations will be powered by sustainable green-power sources supplied by SUPA Energy, allowing residents to charge vehicles via access to SUPA’s network of renewable electricity.

MRCB International CEO Ravi Krishnan said 26 Vista demonstrates the company’s commitment to delivering a project that introduces change in a market that is proving to be slower to welcome eco-initiatives.

"We are proudly moving away from gas and have now unveiled a sustainable transport option for residents; two initiatives that are more commonplace interstate but rarely explored within Gold Coast developments,” Krishnan said.

Soaring 51-storeys high and designed by local architecture firm DBI Design, 26 Vista offers a range of one, two and three-bedroom apartments with views of either the ocean, towards the river, or the hinterland.

Residents will have access to an abundance of amenities, including an internal ‘wellbeing’ precinct featuring a spa, gym, outdoor yoga space, pool, sauna and steam room and a residents lounge.

For residents located on or above level 33, the highest residential sky pool in the Gold Coast awaits on Level 51, presenting views that stretch out across the ocean.

The project is due to be completed in 2026.
